Akshat
She sat there eating the burger I got her, while I stared at her.
Did she really thought I'd leave her like this alone?
When she was done eating, I passed her the bottle of water.
"Did you really thought I'd leave you, in this situation?" I asked, not being able to control myself.
She choked on her water, while I glared at her for answers.
She kept the bottle aside and took a deep breath before saying, "Actually....I ...I'm...."
"You what Arushi?" I asked.
"I'm not us-" she was cut off by the nurse calling out her name.
She looked at me once before getting up and walking towards her.
"-he's asking for you." That's all I heard from the nurse when Arushi asked, "Which room is he in?"
"Room 311." The nurse replied.
Arushi went out after giving her a small nod.
I followed behind her and stopped when we reached the Room 311.
She was just about to enter when I held her arm and stopped her.
"Hey hey. Who's inside? I'm not letting you in unless I know you're going to be safe." I said.
"Inside is my father so don't worry Akshat." She said before going in.
I don't know why, but hearing my name from her mouth, makes my heart skip a beat.
I wonder how would it sound when she will moan-
Oh shut up.
But-
Save it.
Sighing, I rubbed my hands over my face taking a seat on a nearby sofa.
Arushi
I entered to see my father attached to so many IVs.
Hearing the noise, he opened his eyes.
I made my way towards him and sat on the stool near the bed.
He weakly smiled at me, and I reciprocated the same.
He looked all pale, tired, and weak.
Well, that's what a lot of alcohol gives you.
He tried sitting up, but I stopped him saying, "It's okay, don't sit up, you need rest."
"Bring it here." He said pointing towards the bag kept on the other side of the room.
I nodded before bringing up the bag to him.
It was a black leather bag.
"Open the 2nd chain." He said, sounding tired already.
