Arushi

He kept calling my name and I started running faster.

I knew a library which was near, so I sprinted my way there.

I looked behind only after reaching the library. Not seeing him behind anywhere, I felt a bit proud of myself.

Well, my morning runs did helped here. I didn't run in heels though, still I beat him.

I took a few full breaths then went inside removing my card, walking over to the reception.

Just as I thanked the receptionist, the door swung open and there came the only person I wanted to avoid.

I huffed in a low voice and went to find a book.

I was just searching for my book when I felt someone's presence behind me.

Didn't have to be a genius to guess who it is. I didn't turned and kept myself busy in the racks.

After a few minutes of following me everywhere, he sighed aggressively and held my wrist, before I could protest, he spun me around and I clashed into his chest.

"Why are you avoiding me?" he asked.

"Because I can." I said in a mocking tone looking him straight in the eyes.

"Why?" He asked.

I didn't answer just started at him. I was too angry to talk.

By the look, I can say he was trying to read my eyes, but I gave him my poker face.

He closed his eyes for a brief second then said. "Come."

Before I could say anything he started walking towards the end of the shelf.

I was pulling my wrist away from him which only resulted in the tightening of his fingers around my wrist.

He kept walking with the same tightening grip.

I hissed and he looked back at me then losened his grip.

I could see something softening in his angry eyes.

He took me to the very far end of the bookself and moved a shelf there were a few stairs there which lead down to a hallway.

He pulled me again into the hallway and started walking faster.

He stopped and then switched on the sole light there. It glowed into the dark room making it dim.

It was a small room with a small table, a sofa and two chairs.

Since when was the room here? I asked myself.

Akshat

She was just looking everywhere in the small room, but me. I didn't like it this way.

The way she glared at me in the library, the fire in her eyes was something else.

I just wanted to kiss her anger out.
