Tori the zombie

The students of Hollywood Arts were in the black box theatre as they rehearsed for an upcoming play they had for their school.

"Ready?" Marty said. "Action." He said as the lights came on, showing Robbie and Tori, both holding play books.

"I don't know." Tori said in her character.

"Oh, come on! Why can't you admit that you're in love with me?" Robbie said playing his character.

"Why are you in love with me?"

"Because you're beautiful. Look at your face in the moonlight."

"I can't." Tori said dramatically.

"You can."

"No, a person can't look at their own face, it's impossible."

"Then marry me, and I'll buy you a thousand mirrors.

"But that's so many." Tori responded acting stunned

"My father's a billionaire. I can give you everything you've ever wanted, and I'm very good looking."

"Um, yeah."

"Think." Robbie finished and exited stage left

"And lights go." Marty ordered as Seth approached entering stage right.

"It's okay that you don't know." Seth said playing his character, occasionally checking his play book

"But you deserve an answer." Tori said continuing to play her character.

"I can wait, for you, I would wait a thousand years."

"But that's so many."

"I know I'm poor. I know I don't have much to offer, but I do love you."

"Because I'm beautiful?"

"I don't love you because you're beautiful, you're beautiful because I love you."

"Woah." Tori said staying in character, when some flashing lights and disco music began to play.

Everyone looked up and saw Sinjin trying to fix the situation as he accidentally pushed a wrong button, halting the rehearsal. "What up with the disco?!" Jade yelled, standing up and looking up towards him.

"I'm sorry. I hit the wrong thing." Sinjin yelled down in defense.

"No, 15 years ago, your mother gave birth to the wrong thing!" Jade yelled back, as Sinjin looked down having his feeling hurt.

"Alright, why don't we take a break? Tori, Seth, you guys were great, really nice stuff." Marty said sitting up from his chair.

"Thanks." Tori and Seth said simultaneously

"How was I?" Robbie quickly asked with a wide smile.

"I've seen worse." Marty simply said as Robbie's smile dropped disappointed.

"Guys, guys, Everyone shut up a second." Jade said looking at her phone, calling for the classes attention.

"What is it?" Seth asked

"An e-mail from Principal Eikner." Jade answered

"That says?" Tori asked, as Jade turned to her looking at her with disdain and annoyance like always.

" 'To all students involved in our school's production of "Uptown Downtown", Sophia Michelle will be in Los Angeles the weekend of the 17th and will be personally attending your opening night performance' ." Jade said reading the email.

The crowd of students chattered, excited by the news that Sophia Michelle, the writer of the play they were performing, was coming to their school for opening night.
