The gang got ready for another day of improv class, once again doing the scenes and learning how to act on the dime. Everyone sat in class as they watched Andre and Tori perform their scene on stage, where Tori pretended that she was crying.
"Listen. Ms. Travis, listen to me." Andre said in character.
"What?" Tori said pretending to sound worried while pretending to cry.
"This is a simple surgery. I've done this operation hundreds of times." Andre explained still in character. "You'll be fine."
"But what if I'm not fine? What if I die on that operating table? I have three... I have three..." Tori tried to continue in character, but Sikowitz suddenly waltz on stage getting up close and personal with both of them, stepping in between them
"Oh, I'm sorry, kids. Excuse me." Sikowitz said stepping in front of Tori. "I don't mean to interrupt the scene, but Tori, look at the red dot I drew on this index card." Sikowitz said, pulling out a mini blue index card with a red dot. Tori leaned in to take a closer look at it. "Boo!"
Sikowitz suddenly yelled, making Tori fall back in fear. "Sikowitz! You scared the fudge outta me."
"Why did you stop crying?" Sikowitz asked not listening to her.
"What?!" Tori asked still upset.
"You were playing the role of a crying woman who's just been told she's going to have surgery. Why did you break character?" Sikowitz asked kneeling down to her.
"'Cuz you interrupted our scene and screamed boo in my face!" Tori answered as she grew even more angry at his teaching method.
"Tori and Andre, take your seats." Sikowitz instructed as they both walked off stage to their seats. "I'm trying to teach you kids about method acting, and that means whatever character you're playing, you must stay in that character, the entire time, no matter what happens. Whether on camera or off camera, on stage or off stage, you've got to understand that..." Sikowitz was interrupted as the bell ring signifying the end of class "Until tomorrow."
Before the gang could leave, as the rest of the class walked out, Sikowitz cleared his throat getting the attention of everyone else as he looked at them with great disappointment.
"Look, I'm sorry we disappointed you." Tori said trying her best to give some sort of apology
"Yeah, it's just that we think that method acting is kinda dumb." Robbie said as everyone just agreed with him.
"Well, of course you think method acting is dumb. It's too challenging for you." Sikowitz said talking down on their skills, taking a seat on the stairs.
"Yeah, I really don't think that's the issue here." Jade said countering his claim
"Staying in character no matter what happens is something only true, professional actors can pull off. Sometimes I forget you're all just children, you know, amateurs." Sikowitz continued as he insulted their capabilities.
Everyone looked at each other shocked their teacher called such a thing "He called us amateurs." Cat said sounding hurt
"Your whack-job teacher just called all y'all out!" Rex said laughing. "I love it."
"Aw, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your little amateur feelings." Sikowitz continued talking down on them putting a monotoned response saying 'amateur'.
"He did it again." Seth said pointing to Sikowitz
"I really don't think method acting is all that hard." Beck said challenging Sikowitz perspective.
