Roman sighed, a puff of stressed air leaving his lungs. It had been a very eventful day. He'd been out with Patton and Remus for hours now. And while he loved both of them with all of his heart, all three of them together was a lot. He himself was extravagant and flamboyant, Patton was bubbly and loud, and Remus...well, there was really no shoving him into any category aside from insane. He knew they'd been out for too long when even Patton was getting tired. The smaller man had been kind of snappish for a while, which was extremely out of character.

Patton had been like that ever since the movie they went out to see had ended. He was also extremely fidgety, but that wasn't anything out of the ordinary. He was always on his feet, up and bouncing around. Except this was kind of different. Usually when he was bouncing off the walls, it was because of all the energy he had. And he'd always pair his fidgeting with a chattering mouth, talking off the ears of anyone who would listen.

But now, as Roman looked at him, Patton didn't seem to have all that much energy. He seemed focused. He seemed uncomfortable. Which—wasn't strange, considering their circumstances. They'd been out and about all day. Of course, ever since the end of the movie, he'd asked if Patton was doing okay several times. Each time, Patton replied that he was completely fine. But that didn't seem to be the case. So, Roman began to do what he did best: tease and annoy.

"Patton, are you sure you're alright? You've been fidgeting for quite some time now" Roman pointed out.

"I'm just bored" Patton said shortly, his reply immediate, "we're just standing here, waiting for a taxi and we've been out all day on our feet" he whined.

Remus smirked, "Awe, Patton, you're so grumpy right now it's adorable" he cooed, deliberately trying to get under his skin.

"I'm fine" Patton huffed, crossing his arms and shifting from foot to foot. Patton usually was very fidgety, so Roman hadn't thought much of it the past few hours, but this was getting ridiculous. This was a lot, even for Patton. Roman watched as Patton opened his mouth again, hesitating before he continued to speak, "...and i'm sorry for being mean. You guys don't deserve that just because i'm tired and bored."

Roman smiled. There was the Patton he knew, "it's fine, Padre. Nothing compared to how we can get. I mean, just think about it—we're so crazy that we couldn't get along with anybody. We had to go off with you instead."

Patton smiled, but Roman noticed it was strained, like he was forcing it. Like he had something more urgent on his mind, "You have a point."

"Our Taxi is coming!" Remus screamed, "I hope our driver is sexy~!"

Roman groaned, "Remus. Please be good for this car ride, okay? I'd prefer if you didn't traumatize our driver this time."

Remus grumbled, "you're no fun" just as the driver pulled up. They all climbed into the back of the car. Roman sat behind the driver, Patton sat in the middle, and Remus sat behind the passenger seat. The car wasn't incredibly spacious in the back and they were a little squished, but they would live.

"Hey there!" Their driver smiled brightly as the three of them got in, "Taxi for Roman?" Remus was a little disappointed that it was a woman, but he couldn't deny that she was a very pretty one. Roman told her that she had the correct people. As they got situated in the back, she continued to talk, "how are you guys doing today?"
