Two slimy creatures, both with a very octopus-like appearance stood before the Elder Brain, their faces containing a blank, stoic expression. The Elder Brain squirmed in its confinements, a frustrated growl escaping from the brain as it whined and screeched. 'CONTROL' 'DOMINATE', were the only words that rung through the mind flares practically thoughtless minds. The mind flares absentmindedly complied, not putting up much of a fight. The Elder Brain lashed forward, only to be jolted right back by the chains of karsus that held it in place. As long as the chosen of Bhaal, Bane and Myrkul lived with their Neatherstones, the Elder Brain would never truly be free, it would never truly be able to use its power to the full extent.
The Elder Brain thrashed and growled, letting out a high pitch screech only those with the tadpole inside their minds could hear as it desperately fought for its freedom. The place in which the Elder Brain was trapped was a rather unpleasant one, though that was to be expected. 'JOIN THE ABSOLUTE' 'CONTROL' the words rang loudly in the heads of mind flares all near Baldur's Gate, the feeling almost skull shattering. The people mingling around in the city of Baldur's Gate were blissfully unaware of the chaos erupting in the actual palace of Baldurs Gate as they all went about their everyday life.
One figure sat on the rooftop of Sorcerous Sundries, a hood over his head as he watched the people passing by. He shuddered, feeling the wrath of the Elder Brain, though he resisted the words. The figure inhaled sharply, covering his mouth as he coughed. "Shit..I can't resist the Elder Brian forever...I need to get out" the figure grunted to himself as he pulled a mask over his mouth, covering the tentacles of a mouth he had. "Orpheus...I've got to get to the Astral Prism and help the Dream Guardians.. I can't let the Elder Brain take control of. . ." the figure's words came to a stop as the Elder Brain released another parade of demands, all of which following the lines of, 'DOMINATE' 'GIVE IN' 'KILL', the words growing more and more aggressive. The figure groaned as he rubbed his rather slimy forehead, his gaze pinpointed on Baldur's Gate city entrance.
The figure let out an annoyed huff as he got down from the roof of Sorcerous Sundries and made a somewhat mad dash for anywhere away from Baldur's Gate, stumbling into a few people. He let out a gruff and short "sorry" every now and then as he ran through the crowd, a fake synthetic hand holding his hood in place.
'BRING ME THE TRUE SOUL' the voice echoed through the mind flares head. The mind flare grunted as he doubled over in pain from the rather loud demands he was hearing within his mind. "NO" He thought as he clutched his hood. The figure looked around the area, making sure it was clear before he disappeared into an alleyway. "Shit...I need the Chosen to arrive. . .and soon. Baldur's Gate has next to no hope without them" The mind flare muttered through clenched teeth. "The Nautiloid already crashed... you just need to get here. . .and fast, Klavier"
