Chapter 12

I woke up later than I usually do. It's 12. I saw I had an email from the school

You're invited to Utah University Back to School Party!
Please dress nicely and formally. The U staff will be introduced and I, Principal Reed, will talk about our amazing school and projects/activities we will be doing later in the year and the Sports schedule. We will also have a buffet and special guests!
Where: 4541 Drew Lane
When: Saturday August 8th
Time: 3pm-5pm

Seems boring but I know I have to go. I immediately began to look for my outfit. I just don't know why I'm reading this message so late. It was sent 2 weeks before. I usually would call Bianca but me and her haven't talked which seems like forever. I walked out my room and saw Jesse no surprise in the kitchen making a sandwich.
"Are you going to that lame ass thingy?" I asked.
"My Aunt is making me go." He said. I nodded and walked back in my room. I decided to wear gray slim fit dress with my white platform heels. I put on pink lipstick to give it a pop of color and added jewelry and a cross body.
"ERIN!" I heard Jesse yelled. I slowly walked out you room and saw Bianca in a long flowy patterned dress. Lately her style has been changing to old lady-ish and it looks like she's put on a couple pounds but I know it's just the dress. She had on brown heeled sandals and pink/red lipstick. Her hair was natural in waves. I noticed Jesses eyes on me.
"Hi." Bianca said. I couldn't help but look at Jesse and how he was staring at my body. I looked down at myself just to check and see if he was staring at something that wasn't supposed to be on me. I fake smiled at Bianca. Bianca began to walk towards me and I guess the click of Bianca's heels woke Jesse up from his daydreaming and he stopped looking at me and went back to the kitchen. Bianca was right in my face.
"I'm sorry. I knew you were drunk and I should've never held that against you." She said. I waited awhile to respond.
"You're lucky you're my only friend." I said with a slight smile.
"So we're friends again?" She said excitedly biting her lip. I nodded slowly and she quickly grabbed me for a hug.
"Sorry anyway" I said biting her shoulder while in our hug. She giggled and let me go. I walked over to Jesse and grabbed the sandwich he was making and took a bite out of it.
"Hungry ass girl, your sandwich is over there!" He said pointing to a good looking sandwich on the counter behind him.
"Awn you made me a sandwich" I said pouting my lip. He nodded. "But I want yours." I said
"You don't like Mustard so I didn't put mustard on your sandwich. There is mustard on mine." He said.
"You're lying." I said putting the sanwich down. He shook his head. OH MY FUCK! I immediately got a bottled water to wash the taste out my mouth and Jesse bursted out laughing. I stood in the refrigerator chugging the water down quickly. He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind.
"Don't take my food again, babe. Ok?" He whispered in my ear while squeezing my waist. I poked my butt out hard to push him off of me. He picked up his sandwich and began to eat it.
"Bianca would you like for Jesse to make you a sandwich?" I said trying to make Jesse upset. He looked at me warningly. I chuckled cause I know he would hate to make her a sandwich. He would probably poison it haha.
"No. No thanks. I'm good." She said. Jesse rolled his eyes at me.
"Are you sure? Jesse makes the best sandwiches." I said.
"I'm sure." She said.
"Is that your outfit to the lame ass thingy." I said in the nicest way possible. She nodded.
"You look like you're going to the club." Bianca said with a laugh and Jesse chuckled. I flicked him in the back of his head
"Thanks." I said to Bianca.
"Do you even know where that place is? It said like 40 something Drew lane." I said.
"I searched it and -"
"I know where it's at. It's by the place where I get my tattoos." Jesse said cutting Bianca off.
"You wanna take us?" I asked fluttering my eyes trying to convince him.
"Y'all have a gps." I rolled my eyes.
"Me and Bianca aren't good with directions." I said.
"Sorry."
"Jesse, we really don't have time to be getting lost. You can drive my truck." I say.
"Nope."
"I'll pay rent by myself for a month."
"Let me put on my clothes and I'll be ready." He said walking to his room. I looked at Bianca and winked. I heard the door open and it was Colton.
"Hey y'all. Are y'all going to the-" I nodded. I haven't spoke to him since we had sex and things may be a little awkward now. He walked towards me and wrapped his arm around my waist hugging me. Oh. I gave him a side hug also.
"Jesses driving us in Erin's car." Bianca said.
"Oh well do y'all mind if I tag along. My cars in the shop." He said.
"That's fine." I said.
"Oo sandwich! I'm starving. Can I have it?" Colton said looking at me while pointing to the mustard-less sandwich Jesse made me. I nodded.
"Ok. Let's go." Jesse said walking out his room. He looked so handsome. He was wearing a polo shirt and khaki shorts.
"Hey Jesse." Colton said with his mouth full.
"Sup." Jesse said not even making eye contact with him. Jesse walked to my face.
"Keys." He said.
"Jess." Colton said. Jesse turned around and Colton threw the keys at him. He catched them with one hand and started walking towards the door.
