NO ONE POV.
The night was filled with passion, their love for each other burning brighter with every moment. They surrendered to their desires, lost in each other's embrace, and eventually drifted off to sleep, wrapped in each other's arms.
The morning dawned, but instead of sunshine, dark clouds gathered, promising a refreshing rain. The atmosphere was cozy, perfect for a lazy day in bed. Taehyung stirred, waking up to the soothing sound of raindrops on the windowpane. She smiled, loved this weather, and thought of making a warm breakfast - chai and pakoda, a perfect accompaniment to the rainy day.
As she glanced down, she noticed Jungkook's large hands wrapped around her waist, holding her close. She chuckled, feeling loved and cherished. Turning to her side, she gazed at Jungkook, who was still asleep, his face adorably scrunched up in a small pout. Taehyung's heart swelled with affection, and she leaned in to gently kiss Jungkook's forehead, not wanting to wake him just yet.
She carefully removed Jungkook's hand from her waist and got out of bed, still naked from their passionate night. Her body ached, and she winced as she took a few wobbly steps towards the bathroom. Reaching the door, she sighed, her muscles screaming in protest.
Just as she was about to enter, Jungkook's large hands wrapped around her thighs, and he lifted her into a bridal carry. Concern etched his face as he asked, "Is it hurting that much?"
Taehyung bit her lip, not wanting to make him feel guilty. She nodded, trying to downplay the pain. Jungkook sighed and apologized, "I'm sorry, Tae."
Taehyung shook her head, insisting, "It's okay, it's not that bad."
Jungkook helped her into the bathroom, heating the water to relax her sore muscles. He assisted her in the shower, and she felt grateful for his caring nature.
Afterward, he lifted her again and gently placed her on the bed. He fetched her clothes and helped her dress, saying, "Take a rest, okay?"
Taehyung mentioned work, but Jungkook silenced her with a gentle shake of his head. "Shhh, I'll tell them you're sick. Please rest," he requested in a pleading tone.
Taehyung nodded, feeling touched by his concern. She lay down, taking her study book to distract herself from the lingering pain."
Jungkook walked downstairs to find his mother and sister, Jin, seated at the dining table. He asked, "Di, why didn't you go to college?"
His sister replied, "Buddu, it's Sunday." Jungkook's face fell as he realized his mistake.
His mother inquired, "Where's Taehyung?"
Jungkook hesitated before responding, "She's tired...I mean, she's feeling sick."
His mother and sister exchanged concerned glances. "What happened to her? Should we call a doctor?" his mother asked.
Jungkook shook his head, unsure how to explain without revealing the truth. "No, she's okay. Just feeling a bit of pain."
Jin got up from her seat, determined to check on Taehyung. "Let me see her."
Jungkook tried to stop her, but he couldn't think of a convincing reason. Jin knocked on the door, opened it, and found Taehyung lying on the bed, holding a book.
Taehyung noticed Jin's entrance and got up from bed, asking, "Di, what's wrong?"
Jin approached her, saying, "Kook said you're sick, let me check you. I'm a doctor, after all."
Taehyung held her breath, her eyes darting to Jungkook, who stood at the door with a panicked expression. She looked at both of them, confusion etched on her face, and said, "What's going on?"
Her gaze settled on Jungkook, and she firmly said, "Kook, leave." She gestured towards the door, and Jungkook reluctantly exited the room. Taehyung locked the door behind him and turned to Jin.
Jin asked, concern etched on her face, "Where is it paining, Tae?"
Taehyung hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. But Jin's genuine concern put her at ease, and she began to explain...
Taehyung replied, 'I'm okay, just a little back pain.' Jin nodded and asked, 'Are you having your periods?' Taehyung shook her head, 'No, I think this pain means they're coming soon.'
Jin nodded understandingly and said, 'If the pain worsens, take a painkiller. It'll help alleviate the discomfort.' Taehyung nodded, and Jin left the room only to return with a painkiller in hand. She gave Taehyung the pills to take after the breakfast, her expression knowing.
As a doctor, Jin had already pieced together the evidence - the hickeys on Taehyung's neck, her flushed face, and Jungkook's guilty expression. She knew the real reason for Taehyung's back pain.
Jin left the room, finding Jungkook biting his nails anxiously. She couldn't help but smile knowingly, aware of the passionate night that had led to Taehyung's discomfort.
Jungkook asked Jin, 'Is she okay?' Jin nodded and quickly left, feeling uncomfortable knowing the real reason for Taehyung's pain.
Jungkook rushed back into the room, asking Taehyung, 'What did you tell her?' Taehyung looked at him, hesitant to discuss her periods with him. She came from a conservative family where such topics were considered taboo, so she simply said, 'Just about the back pain.'
Jungkook nodded and said, 'Okay, take a rest then.' Taehyung nodded and lay back down, this time drifting off to sleep while holding a pillow.
Jungkook smiled and left her sleeping, heading downstairs to ask his mother, 'What's for breakfast?"
His mother smiled and said, 'It's raining outside, so I made some chai and pakoda.' Jungkook's face lit up, and he exclaimed, 'Yes!'
His mother reminded him, 'Call Taehyung too, she needs to take her medicine. Jin told me that.' Jungkook replied, 'Ma, she's sleeping. I'll wake her up in an hour.'
His mother nodded understandingly and said, 'Okay, let her rest.' They all began enjoying their breakfast, and Mr. Jeon asked about Taehyung's well-being.
Jin explained, 'She's just a bit sick,' but Mr. Jeon showed concern, suggesting, 'Take her to the hospital, just in case.' Jin reassured him, 'She's okay, really.'
They continued their breakfast, savoring the warm chai and crispy pakoda on the cozy rainy morning.
As they finished their breakfast, Jungkook's mother asked, 'Kook, why don't you go check on Taehyung? Make sure she's feeling better.'
Jungkook nodded and headed upstairs, quietly opening the door to their room. Taehyung was still sleeping, holding the pillow tightly. He smiled, feeling a surge of love for her.
He sat down beside her, gently stroking her hair. 'Tae, wake up. It's been an hour. You need to take your medicine.'
Taehyung stirred, opening her eyes. 'Kook...I'm so sore.'
Jungkook's expression turned concerned. 'Do you want me to get Jin? Or maybe we should go to the hospital?'
Taehyung shook her head, 'No, I'll be fine. I just need to rest.'
Jungkook nodded, handing her the medicine and a glass of water. 'Take this, and I'll bring you some chai.'
As Taehyung took the medicine, Jungkook couldn't help but feel grateful for Jin's discretion. He knew Taehyung would be embarrassed if his family knew the real reason for her pain.
