"Daena, come with me and your sister to light a candle for lady Alice Baron." Daena looked up from her painting. "She passed this morning and was an avid follower of the faith of the seven." Alicent spoke in a calm whisper.
"Lord Barons wife passed?" Daena asked. She was not shocked at the news nor was she upset, after all she never knew the women, but now that Lord Baron would be on the look for a new wife, Daena knew to be cautious.
The Queen and her two daughters time at the sept came and went and as the three walked back through the halls of the castle a familiar figure walked by. Lord Baron strolled with their Grandsire talking in hushed tones.
Alicent stopped and her two shadows copied. "Lord Baron" she spoke solemnly. "I have heard the news of Lady Alice's passing. Me and my daughters have just returned from the sept, we pray the stranger took her in peace"
"Thank you my queen." He bowed. Then turned to Daena. "Although death is hard on one's heart. We must move forward. Especially when i am yet to possess heirs."
The Queen Alicent turned her body to Daena but kept contact with the Lord. "You mean to remarry?"
As if in instinct Daena rotated towards her sister, grabbing her arm. Suddenly, footsteps were heard, Daena watched her Grandsires eyes as they followed someone behind her.
"The princess is late to her lesson." Sir Bors called out from behind.
The girl turned with a smile. "I will be changed in a moment." She nodded.

"I think my Grandsire is plotting to marry me off to Lord Odel Baron." The princess huffed. Her sword clinking against her knights.
"Im sure it would be for the best." He replied.
Daena stopped and stared at him with a displeased look.
"Come on princess, if you don't marry him you have to come up with a better solution."
"I have a better solution... To just not marry." She then resumed to practicing.
"Being the most sort after maiden in the whole of the seven kingdoms has its downfalls." Sir Bors stated. "One of which, is marring one of the thousands of men flaunting after you."
"Or i could fly off on Kratos and leave everyone and everything behind me." She responded.
"And leave your mother to die of heart ache."
"She has Helaena."
"Princess Helaena does not cancel out the other two."
Daena laughed, "you speak as bravely as you fight."
Sir Bors opened his mouth to speak before a large thud was heard followed by a swarm of gasps.
The two dropped their things and raced to the opposite end of the yard where a body lay on the ground. A body that was identified to be Lord Baron with Lord Stark towering over it.

It was late morning, nearly afternoon, when Cregan had left his chambers. He didn't feel sick from the previous night, just embarrassed to be seen by Daena. The lord hadn't a clue way he didn't want to see her but at the same time she was all he thought about.
He walked through the hallways with caution until he stumbled upon the Queen Alicent and princess Helaena parting ways with the Lord hand and Lord Baron.
In a desperate attempt to avoid conversation, Cregan turned and went to walk the other way when he was stopped by a voice calling him.
"Lord Stark!" Shouted lord Baron. He then simply gestured for Cregan to come towards him.
