I haven't slept a wink.

As soon as I returned home, I chugged an entire bottle of beer. It wasn't enough. It didn't replace that weird pit formed in my stomach.

I literally had three mental breakdowns after having that conversation with Mikhail. I had many thoughts and ideas of leaving everything here and running away with my family but, I kept telling myself that they'll eventually find me. Running away sounds like what Fedrick would do. Would? He already did.

I'm minutes away from turning my morning alarm off. It's currently 3:56 p.m and my training begins from today.

From today, I'm starting a new life. I won't call it beautiful. It's definitely not beautiful. Because who knows what kind of person I might become after six months.

Mason's three years in Russia had a profound effect on him. Not just physically but emotionally too. Russia sounds absolutely mental. Mikhail did offer me to go to Russia before he left but I respectfully denied. There's no way I'm going there. I'd rather be the king's security guard.

I resist the urge to throw my phone across the room when the alarm rings but I turn it off instead. I'm not a morning person. Infact, I hate mornings. The morning's chill touches my legs as I pull back the rug, causing me to shiver. I walk to the bathroom and turn on the lights then look at myslef in the mirror.

Very fucking beautiful. I look like a dead panda.

I freshen up and wear my gym clothes. Apparently I'll be doing physical training today. They want to check my stamina and physical strength.

I slowly peek through Grace's room to see if she's still asleep and my eyes go wide when I spot her flushed face getting bent over the bed--

Whoops.

I immediately shut the door with a gentle click.

What a nice way of saying good morning to a person. She's a lucky girlfriend.

I quickly step out of the house, towards my car and I spot a very familiar bike parked across the street. When I go to examine it my other phone buzzes:

Unknown number: please be here in twenty minutes. *attaches a link*

They gave me a new phone and laptop. I click on the link and it guides me to the location. I quickly hop in my Audi Q5 and drive to the location. It's a fifteen minute drive from here.

The more closer and closer I get to the location the more sweaty my palms get. As soon as I reach, I text Grace that I'm at the gym and I might come home late. Dove is staying with her parents for a week.
