"You must be out of your fucking mind, isn't it?" A female voice says behind me and I turn around from the window to see Dove, looking at me furiously.

Her blonde hair cascades down her shoulders and she wears a grey suit.

"I'm sorry, sir. She just wouldn't listen." One of the guards says, following her inside.

I'm currently in my office, asking for updates from Dalton who is in Russia.
He's there, dealing with some unfinished business.

I narrow my eyes at her and signal the guard to leave. He nods and steps out of the room.

"What did I do?" I ask innocently while approaching her.

She scoffs, crossing her arms over her chest, "You know what you did. Why the hell would you let her fight Damon?!" She exclaims.

I shrug, "It was her own decision and I'm not objecting it."

It's true. I'm not objecting with her decision. She made it on her own and I'm nowhere part of it.

Maybe I was... just a little.

I just want to see how far I can push her. This is just the beginning. We have a long way to go. I have a lot of things already pre-planned after I got to know about her involvement with Mikhail.

"I know you think of her as a joke." She says.

I narrow my eyes, "It's not just me, the entire underworld thinks of her as a joke."

When Leo heard about the deal she made with Mikhail, he told that Kaya was all words and no action. I thought so too. Kayden insisted and Matt said nothing about it. I want to know what Mikhail was thinking when he got to know who she actually was.

I'm pretty sure he takes her as a joke too. But I want to see if she proves everyone wrong or she's just words.

Now, will I help her survive in the underworld if she wins? Maybe. I said 'I'll think about it.'

I've heard Kayden updating Mikhail on her progress and I must say that I'm pretty impressed. Let's see how much of that smart head she'll use tonight.

"What if she proves everyone wrong today?" She defends.

I take a cigarette from the breast pocket of my suit and bring it to my lips, lighting it, "Good for her." I reply, blowing out the smoke.

Dove looks away, probably contemplating Kaya's decision. She should be.

I walk back to my desk, "And oh, tell you bestfriend not to be overconfident. It's Damon Petrov."

Damon is an asshole. And he's that guy from Skyline High School. Yeah, he's from that football team we won against, five years ago. It's not just him, he and his three other fucker friends too.
