Albert POV

Music was ringing in my ears. Upon entering, I looked around the room, recognizing some of the faces in it, and made my way to the host of the party. She was standing near the stage talking to some of the guests. Her blonde hair billowed behind her shoulders. Turning her head to look at the waiter, her gaze rested on me. When she recognized me she waved her hand, and I walked over to her.

-"Happy birthday, Taylor!"I hugged her, and she smiled at me.

She gently took the present from my hands and handed it to one of her employees.

The air was full of laughter, conversation, and the smell of alcohol.

Taylor disappeared into the crowd. The next moment she was on stage and everyone fell silent. She approached her microphone and looked out at the audience.

-Welcome! Thank you for taking time out of your day to be a part of this party! I want to welcome my dear friend.

Applause was heard. A girl with short, brown hair, a light yellow dress, and a wide smile took the stage. At the sight of Taylor, she was overjoyed and immediately hugged her, then she handed her the microphone and got off the stage. The unknown girl was there now.

She cleared her throat, the lights went out and all that could be heard was her voice. Her voice was gentle, quiet, soothing, and touching. The stranger looked around at the audience as she sang her song.

I forgot about everything around me and all I could hear was her.

-"Do you like the way she sings? "Taylor pulled me out of my thoughts as she moved closer to me.

-Yes... Who is she exactly?

-Gracie... Gracie Abrams.
