After the excitement of the Versace show, Sophie and I decided to explore Milan. We met in the hotel lobby, both dressed casually and ready for a day of adventure. The sun was shining, and the city was bustling with energy.

-Ready to explore? - Sophie asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

-Absolutely, - I replied, smiling. -Where should we start?

-Let's head to the Duomo first. It's a must-see, - she suggested.

We made our way to the Duomo di Milano, the magnificent cathedral that dominated the city's skyline. As we approached, I couldn't help but be awed by its intricate Gothic architecture.

-It's breathtaking, - I said, snapping a few photos.

-It really is, - Sophie agreed. -I've read that it took nearly six centuries to complete.

We spent some time admiring the cathedral, climbing to the rooftop for a panoramic view of Milan. The city stretched out before us, a blend of historic buildings and modern skyscrapers.

-So, how did you get into singing? - I asked as we took in the view.

-I've been singing since I was a kid, - Sophie explained. -My parents always encouraged me, and I started performing in local shows. Eventually, I got noticed by a producer, and things just took off from there.

-That's amazing. It's clear you love what you do.

-I do, - she said, smiling. -What about you? How did you get into modeling?

-I kind of stumbled into it, - I admitted. -I was always interested in fashion, but it wasn't until Taylor Swift noticed me and helped me get my foot in the door that things really started happening.

-Taylor Swift? That's incredible. She has a great eye for talent.

-Yeah, she's been a huge support. And Gracie, of course. She's always there for me.

Sophie nodded, looking thoughtful. -Gracie seems wonderful. You two must be really close.

-We are, - I said, feeling a pang of homesickness. -She's amazing, sweet, funny and cute. I... she makes me never want to look at anything else. Gracie is like the sun. She's the person that I got close to very quickly. Gracie is like gold, like daylight. She has always been able to make me breathe fresh air. I really miss her, if she had said I would have stayed. - I look down at my hand. - My career isn't the most important thing to me anymore.

-I understand, - Sophie said gently. -It's tough being away from loved ones, but it's all part of the journey, right?

-Right, - I agreed, appreciating her understanding.

We continued our exploration, visiting the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the world's oldest shopping malls. The elegant architecture and high-end shops were impressive.

-This place is incredible, - I said, looking around.

-It really is, - Sophie replied. -Want to grab a coffee?

-Sure, sounds great.

We found a cozy café and settled in, enjoying the atmosphere. The conversation flowed easily, and I felt comfortable around Sophie.

-So, what's next for you after Milan? - I asked.

-I have a few more performances lined up in Europe, - she said. -It's going to be busy, but I'm excited.

-That's great. I have a few more shows as well. It's going to be an intense couple of weeks.

-We should make the most of it then, - Sophie said with a grin. -No better way to experience a city than with a friend.

-Agreed, - I said, raising my coffee cup in a toast.

We spent the rest of the day exploring Milan's hidden gems, from charming streets to art galleries. The more time I spent with Sophie, the more I appreciated her company. She was talented, kind, and easy to talk to.

As the sun began to set, we found ourselves at a quiet park, watching the colors of the sky change.

-Thank you for today, - Sophie said softly. -It was nice to take a break and just enjoy the city.

-Thank you, - I replied. -I had a great time.

We sat in comfortable silence for a while, both lost in our thoughts. Despite the excitement of the trip, I couldn't shake the feeling of missing Gracie. But having Sophie as a friend made it a little easier.

-I should get back to the hotel, - Sophie said eventually. -Early start tomorrow.

-Yeah, me too, - I agreed. -Thanks for the company, Sophie.

-Anytime, Albert. Let's do this again soon.

As we walked back to the hotel, I felt a sense of contentment. The trip was important for my career, but it was moments like these that made it truly memorable. And with friends like Sophie, I knew I could handle whatever came my way.
