She held her breath, knowing her heartbeat was growing as loud as the echoing footsteps walking across the deck, from the Captain's cabin to where she had found herself tied to the mast.

The moment she woke to an ghostly silent, she understood her fate.

Glancing up to the colours, the flag, would have been useless and only seal her fate more.

Everyone is warned over the Captain that rises at night, that hunts the innocent or pirate among the sea and how it's prey is never found, not even by Davy Jones.

The vampire pirate that feeds from it's chosen prey, drains them dry and throws the remaining flesh towards the demons that fearfully serve under him.

It's a fate that even the devil grows disgusted by and allows the few souls left haunting the sea to reach heaven as a sign of mercy.

She accepted her fate, knew she was never going to see her love ones or friends again.

She wasn't even sure what had happened with her fellow crewmates and captain, only left hoping that they had somehow gotten away or were left untouched as they slept.

Feeling her eyes grow wet as the clouds grown dark above.

Allowing the tears to fall as the footsteps were about to reach her.

Sobbing as she wasn't going to be ashamed over being afraid in her final moments of life.

She knew pain and suffering was awaiting her, she won't foolishly going to act tough or brave when she was able to cry all the pain out.

Taking an shaky breath as she felt a frozen finger ran up her cheek and caught a tear, wiping it away.

Cold deep blue eyes staring into her golden ones, enchanted by them.

An charming smile stretching across his lips as he stands before her, tasting her tear on his own tongue and not once scratching himself on his pointed teeth.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you to not play with your food?" Katie snapped back as she glared towards him, wanting her brutal death to be over with already.

She watched as her the pirate pulled his finger from his mouth, his eyes looking her over before he finally raised an confused eyebrow towards her over her comment.

"Food? I think you find yourself mistake here, treasure. You aren't here to feed my stomach but to feed my heart" He tells her with an small smirk, his eyes honest as he places a hand to his stomach before sliding it up to where his heart should be.

"Feed your heart?" Katie repeats with furrowed eyebrows, not understanding him at all.

"You're my bride. The promised love written in the stars. My one and only greatest and true treasure in my life" He calmly explains, waving his hand towards the cloudy sky above them and they soon clear to show the star filled night sky above.
