And now, let's turn of those lights and hopefully give you all a spooky fun read.
Running an after school hours babysitting club had both it's perks and flaws.
It helped the three teens to work a decently paying park time job as they helped out with the adult owner, an uncle to one of the part timers.
But it also meant that you were stuck with children from when middle school finish for the day and until as late as midnight. Leaving long hours of working and little time for sleep before having to rush to school the next morning.
It meant you learnt to care for the young and got to hear about all the strange and delightful thoughts they gather in their tiny minds.
It also meant that having weekends to yourself or having lay ins were completely lost for most of the year.
Shiro and Matthew heard over the Paladin's Adventure by Matt's little sister being signed up by his parents for weekends and holidays.
Colleen and Sam didn't want to leave their sixteen year old son being forced to care for his five year old sister full time. They wanted him to enjoy and experience his life and be a normal teenager as much as possible.
So, one day, after school, Matt was told by his parents over his sister being signed up for the babysitting place and how he now had more freedom to live his teenager years however they suited him best.
It left Matt mentioning the place to his best friend, Shiro, while researching over "Paladin's Adventure" online at school. Shiro soon mentioning it to his adopted mother, Krolia who also worked a lot and signed his little brother, Keith, up for it too. Trusting the place to be safe if the Holt's had sent their own daughter there.
It's how the two teens looked into getting part time jobs there. Wanting to keep an eye on their siblings and gain some extra cash for doing it. Sure, they gained pocket money from their families each month but they liked the idea over trying their hand at a job together too.
It's how they met Coran, the owner of "Paladin's Adventure" and his niece, Allura who also was a part timer there.
Coran lived on the floor above his children care floor, Allura living with him too after she had lost her own parents. Leaving them to close up and open the caring centre and not minding staying up a little later if a parent phoned in to warn they were running late or sent for someone else to collect their child.
