Eliana knew the men Mikail spoke of. Not that she would admit that to either of the princes. It had been a few years since she had a run in with them, but she remembered all their tricks. After the last two nights with Cayde, all Eliana desired was a warm bath and a bed to herself, but as she thought more on the subject, she realised yet again that she had now become stuck with the prince.

As the trio neared Falwayn territory, Eliana concluded that the bandits they sought were the same ones terrorising the nearby town. When she opened her mouth to tell Cayde, he stopped her, and told her he had already concluded the same answer and had already begun devising a plan.

"I have a plan," Eliana stated, as she used her magic to reach out and feel for life ahead. "I rescue Gregor. You search nearby for a horse and prepare us for a quick exit."

"You must be mad if you think I am going to let you do this on your own... Ranger...?" Cayde looked around for some sign of Eliana, but found only the packs sitting themselves neatly near a tree. Cayde used the bond to reach out, but heard only Eliana's voice in his mind.

"You keep Mik safe and find some horses, maybe some fresh water. I've got this."

Cayde rolled his eyes and groaned as he rested his brother next to the packs before putting a protective spell over him. He grunted and ached as Eliana moved further away from him, his beast already lashing out at the fact she wasn't in his line of sight.

Eliana felt the same, but still she moved forward, having sensed the men and the camp from a fair distance. She snuck in easily and hid behind some storage boxes in the outer rim of the camp before the familiar feeling of being watched washed over her. The woman rolled her eyes as Cayde somehow appeared next to her, a single dagger in his hand as he pointed to his head.

Eliana dropped the wall and heard him already running off a list of plans, but quickly she hushed him with a silent hand gesture before she took the blade from him. She turned to peek over the edge of the boxes, prompting the man to do the same.

"There are men there and there, so no to the first plan. Baz is south, which means Larcell is in the tent with Gregor under his gaze and we don't want that. They need to be lured out and away."

Cayde looked at the woman beside him in horror. "You... You know their names?!" He whispered aloud.

Eliana turned quickly to Cayde and pressed a finger to her lips. "Later. For now, we save Gregor. Follow my lead." Eliana moved to advance, but Cayde was quicker. The man grabbing her shirt and pulling her back to face him. "What the fuck?!" she hissed aloud before Cayde slammed his hand over her mouth.

"You know them and you wanna go in as bait?!"

"Actually, I was going to send you in as bait."

"Me?!"

"Well, you're the handsome prince that would crash the party to save his brother."

Cayde smirked and licked his lips as he pulled his hand from Eliana's lips. "You think I'm handsome."

Eliana rolled her eyes and resisted the urge to groan. "That's what you got from that?" Cayde shrugged as Eliana blew upwards to move a stray strand of hair from her eyeline. "We have to get to Greg before- "

"WELL, WELL! Looks like the Nightingale finally found a sparrow!" came a booming voice that made Eliana's face pale. The woman froze, feeling as small as her childhood self at the sound of the voice filling her ears. "Keep him locked up tight, lads. She'll be here soon."

"Before... him?" Cayde asked the woman through their bond, his thumb gesturing behind him in the direction the voice had come from. "And did he say the Nightingale?"
