As the signs of dark magic became more evident, Courtney's resolve hardened. The commander and the butler, along with Courtney's closest advisors, uncovered a book of forbidden spells hidden in Eleanor's quarters. This discovery confirmed their worst fears.
The butler presented the book to Courtney, his voice low and grave. "Your Majesty, this book contains rituals and spells of a nature that is both dark and dangerous."
Courtney's eyes narrowed as she examined the book, her voice icy. "This confirms Eleanor's deceit. But we must act with precision. A public accusation could lead to panic."
The commander added, "Reports of strange illnesses and crop failures are increasing. It's as if the land itself is reacting to her presence."
Courtney's tone was firm and decisive. "We will confront Eleanor, but we must be prepared for any outcome. The kingdom's stability is our primary concern."
As Eleanor's influence over Richmond continued to deepen, Courtney prepared for the inevitable confrontation.
