The soft glow of the moonlight peaked through your window as you threw yourself on your bed, tired from the week you wanted to forget.

You bury your face into your pillow, blanket covering your whole body - head to toe - as you hear fingers tapping at your bedroom door. "Go away Mom I told you I want to be left alone."

You hear the door open, the sound of footsteps seemingly echoing loudly against your carpet. "Mom please, I'm not in the mood."

You feel your bed dip, a hand resting against your back. "Look I'm sorry but I really want-" you sit up, throwing your blanket off you, your heart dropping when you see who is in your room.

It was your friend, she was the reason you wanted to forget the past week. She hadn't left your mind at all, the events from the previous weekend had all but burned themselves into your mind, forcing you to remember everything in excruciating detail.

"Hey, sorry your mom let me in. I haven't seen you since the morning after the party, I just wanted to make sure you were okay?"

You look over to the window, refusing to make eye contact. Your brain and heart can't handle looking at her, not after what happened.

"So who wants to play a game?" Your boyfriend shouts over the music as he sits in the middle of the living room, a bottle in one hand as he beckons everyone over. He waves over to you, hand outstretched as you walk over, leaning against him as you sit down.

"Where's your little friend? I'm sure she'll want to play." You point to the hallway, your best friend leaning against the doorframe, when she notices you she begins walking over, sitting in the only open space on the floor - the left side of your boyfriend.

The room falls silent - bar the loud music blasting from the speakers - as he places the bottle in the middle of the floor, everyone watching in anticipation as he chooses who makes the first move. You watch as he smirks, you know who he's about to choose - you.

"Do I have to Kerian?" You whine, smiling up at him, he shrugs as he wraps his arm around your waist. "You have to at least spin it, just once, for me?"

You roll your eyes as you lean forward, your best friend giggling as she watches your every move. You spin the bottle, not paying any attention to it as you sit back down, his hand now resting on your thigh.

You lean back against your hands, looking over at your friend, smiling softly as you watch her cheer with the rest of the partygoers. "Hey dork, guess who it's landed on?" She said as she wiggled her eyebrows, you had assumed - that while busy staring at her - Kerain had rigged it for the bottle to land on himself. But with how he knows you aren't really a big fan of PDA - and quite frankly neither is he - you also weren't exactly shocked when you realise he didn't touch it. Instead, it had landed on her. So as she jokingly teased you and dragged you into the nearby closet, just big enough for the both of you, you heard a sudden ringing in your ears. As she shut the door you just about managed to witness your boyfriend smack his friend round the back of the head. You assumed he made his usual joke about how he wants nothing more than to see you and your friend kiss.

"So, how's things going with Kerain?" Yoohyeon asked as she flicked the light on, leaning against the door.

"Good, good yeah." That was a lie and she knew it.

You and Kerain loved each other, but not in that way. You were only dating because you were both too scared to come out of the closet. Yoohyeon had no idea that you were dating for that reason, she had just assumed that - at first - you two had genuine feelings for each other that you only realised later in life. You three - along with a few others at the party - were childhood friends, so dating someone in the group was a little weird for everyone at first but they never cared, only cheering you two on as time went by. Yoohyeon on the other hand never did. Yes, she had congratulated you on your newfound love, but she never seemed happy about you dating him. You had thought that maybe it was because she liked him, which broke your heart for two reasons: he was secretly gay and you were in love with her. So you thought she was just upset and jealous that he chose you.
