Chapter 3: Arrival

African Jungle, 2004

After hunting together, the Gorillas were getting ready to rest. Kumba was looking out the whole Jungle, enjoying the view, though he was wondering if he was meant for love.

He was about to join his troop on resting when they all heard the sound of a shotgun, which startles the gorillas as some hides their young in worry.

Kumba: *In a stern tone* (Gorilla Language) Everyone! Take Shelter! I'll go check!

The troop goes to hide, while Kumba swings through the Jungle to see where the sound came from.

Meanwhile, the boat has arrived to shore, and Luna and Monica, while landing off with stuff in hand, were amused by how beautiful the plants looked. Luna, in particular, was feeling excited, as if she just arrived to a new adventure, or as she was feeling, which I know it's weird, but... came home.

After unpacking and setting up the camp, Adrian approached Luna, Monica and Mr. Felipe.

Adrian: Alright then, before we explore the deep Jungle, I want to introduce you to some of my crewmates.

Luna/Monica: Right!

Uncle Felipe: Ok, Excellent.

Adrian: *Coughs to clear his throat* This is Dylan, he's my co-leader, if you have any question, he's the Best person.

Dylan: Hello, everyone! *Gazes at Monica and blushes*

Monica: *Also looking at Dylan and blushing* (Man tone) Nice to meet you.

Adrian: Anyways, these are Orien and Lucas.

Orien: How you doin'?

Lucas: Hi!

Adrian: And Daniel, Giles and Pete, among others.

The 3: Hello!

Luna: It's nice to meet you all! Didn't you say that the group only has men, Adrian?

Adrian: Yes, so you better be careful, cause some of them are not open to others. *Winks at Luna*

Luna: *Uncomfortable* Umm... Yes. *Takes off her glasses to fix her view and lets her long black hair down*

Kumba, who was watching from the bushes, couldn't help but feel strange as he saw Luna, who took off her glasses and has let her hair loose. Upon seeing it, he felt something in him: His heart pounding, His face burning up and he felt nervous.
He didn't know it yet, but it was love at first sight.

Luna: *Puts on her glasses and picks her hair up into a ponytail again* Anyways... I want to start and explore myself first!

Uncle Felipe: *Approaches her worried* Are you sure, darling? You've never went alone to a Jungle!

Luna: *Grabs her backpack and puts it on* Uncle, I'll be fine, I'm 20. *Runs off into the deep Jungle*

Monica: (Thinking worried) *Let's hope that you're okay, girl...*

While Luna was exploring around, Kumba still watched her from the bushes, unable to shake off the strange feeling in him, especially since Luna was singing while walking through the Jungle.

Luna:

She then sees a cute little monkey swinging by. As it lands, Luna smiles and approaches it.

Luna: Hello, little one! How do you do?

Monkey: *Cute Monkey sounds*

Luna: *Giggles* So cute~ *Thinks of something* Hold still! *Pulls out her sketchbook and draws the Monkey* There you go! What you think?

Monkey: *Happily makes Monkey sounds and leaves*

Luna: *Smiles* Bye Bye! *Giggles cutely*

Kumba: *Smiling while watching hidden until he steps on a twig*

Luna: *Gasps as she turns around* W-Who's there? *Looks around and knowing something might want to attack her, she runs away scared*

Due to not knowing the Jungle, Luna got lost and tripped as her hair lets loose and she loses her glasses.

Seeing this, Kumba went to her aid and saw that she was uncouncious, so he decides to carry her to somewhere safe, and seeing that she'll need her glasses even he doesn't know what they are, he picks them up and puts them on the uncouncious woman before swinging off with Luna in his arms.
