"Did we take too many chances?"

Space. That's what I saw when I opened my eyes. Stars and nebulas fill my vision. Until a giant purple crystal rock flew past me. I looked back towards it and I saw a giant version of the ground bridge, only this time in space and shaped like an eye. The purple rock flew through the portal. Making the scene in front of me shift to a metal planet.

Even though I had never seen the planet, I knew it was Cybertron. The rock suddenly turned into a comet heading straight towards the planet. Causing a crater on impact, sending a wave of purple energy throughout the planet. The dead Cybertronian warriors started raising and flying towards the space bridge.

The scene changed again, now I was on Earth as the Zombiecons started wreaking havoc. Flames shooting up from the ground. Car horns blaring. Explosions going off. People screaming as a Zombiecon walked forward shooting bolts out of its hands. The Zombiecon looked over towards me and blasted a bolt at me.

Making me jolt awake. Breathing heavily as the dream replayed in my head. My hands clutched the blankets around me tightly. Looking at my clock I noticed I wasn't going to go back to bed. So, I got up and got ready for the day.

Maddie was coming out of her room dressed and ready to go once we heard Optimus honk. Snow ran to Maddie, turning into a white mist and forming into a storm cloud pendant attached to a silver chain honking around Maddie's neck. Maddie got her shoes on and went out the door as Shadow followed with me closing and locking the front door.

We were at the base once more with Maddie on the couch with her computer, my phone with her as she asked for it earlier. It was plugged into her laptop, her typing something away on it. Shadow layed down near her. I was leaning over the railing staring at Ratchet's computer screen.

Beeping came from it as the others were all standing around for him to find the 'cons space bridge. Arcee is out, trying to persuade Jack to come back.

"Optimus, I've pinpointed the location of Megatron's space bridge - High in Earth's orbit" Ratchet read off the screen turning to Optimus.

"Out of our reach." Optimus finalized coming to stand behind Bulk.

Miko was near Bulkhead's feet. "Okay. So, you guys don't fly. But couldn't you just ground bridge there?" She asked, not understanding the bridge's limitations. Raf was in Bees' hand.

Ratchet looked at her exasperated. "The ground bridge has limited range. Stretched all the way into orbit, its vortex could snap and scatter us to the stars." Ratchet waves his hands to emphasize his point. Miko's face shows horror at his explanation.

"Since Megatron is likely already in transit, I'm afraid we must take that risk." Optimus turned to the ground bridge. "Reaching the space bridge first is our only means of stopping him." Optimus said, determined.

A horn honks through the entrance tunnel making us look to see Arcee and Jack coming through. They come to a stop as Jack gets off and takes his helmet off. "Hey. Guess who's back."

"Autobots, prepare for departure." Optimus told the others.

"Where to?" Arcee asked, confused slightly.

Miko stepped forward, answering Arcee's question. "The final frontier."

"Space?" Jack questioned. "I-I thought they didn't have any way to get there."

Bee lowered Raf to the ground. "They don't, really." Raf informed.

Jack looked to Arcee. "Be seeing you?" Arcee shrugged, while Ratchet moved to the ground bridge controls. Activating it. The kids said their goodbyes to their guardians. Optimus came over to where I was still leaning on the railing, Maddie looked up from her work to say goodbye.
