Chapter - 7

"Did we throw it all away? Did we throw it all away?"

- a few days later -

Bulkhead and Bee were in front of me as we drove through the tunnel. Jack was with Raf in Bee and Miko was with Bulk. Since it was a Saturday, Optimus messaged me very apologetic for not being able to bring us to base, but I reassured him that Shadow was fine. I was on Shadow in my riding gear and Maddie was behind me with Snowball as her helmet with a lightning bolt on it.

I also told them about Snowball and how Maddie created her during one of her power-overloading episodes. She was almost made entirely of snow and cloud particles, giving her a solid form. Snowball is linked to Maddie through her mind, just like I was to Shadow; Shadow had more personality than Snow did.

We came to a stop near the entrance, Bulk and Bee opening their doors for the kids to get out. I got off Shadow and then helped Maddie. Her helmet turned to white mist then formed into Snow's kitten form, hanging on her shoulders. My helmet transformed with Shadow's bike into nanotech, combining to form her dog/wolf.

"Miss us, Doc Bot?" Miko asked Ratchet as she got out of Bulkhead.

This made Ratchet groan in annoyance. "Shouldn't they be in school?" He looked over to Optimus a little confused. As we started walking over to the small group.

Miko questioned him instead. "On Saturday?" Bee and Bulk transformed once we were far enough away.

"They have the whole weekend off to spend with you." I teased Ratchet, knowing it would get under his plating. He looked at me with a raise of his eyebrow, still a little surprised at my new teasing/playful personality.

Ever since they read my file, I was starting to become more confident in speaking with them, without having to worry about revealing everything. Only telekinesis, insanely fast healing, and my enhanced senses were in the file though, so that was the only thing to worry about.

Jack walked over to Arcee confused about the change of transportation. "I wasn't expecting to carpool. What gives, Arcee?"

She walked closer to him. "Tag team, Jack. It's my turn for exploration duty." She informed him, hand going on her hip.

"Oh, too bad. It's a beautiful day for a ride." Jacked hinted at wanting to go with her. "Would hate for you to feel guilty for leaving me indoors."

"Arctic exploration duty." Arcee shot him down quickly.

Jack swiftly turned his attention around, agreeing with Arcee. "Indoors where it's warm."

Raf walked up to them with Maddie and me, Shadow trailing close behind. "The Arctic? I've always wanted to see snow." Raf exclaimed excitedly. I looked towards Maddie as her eyes lit up.

"I would invite you to join, Rafael, but the conditions are much too extreme, even for us Autobots." Optimus said regretfully.

Raf looked a little saddened. "I... understand."

Optimus looked at me once Raf finished. "You have sensors for when you get too cold, right?" I was a little worried for them. Optimus nodded in affirmative as he turned towards the open ground bridge.

"But I will bring you back a snowball." Optimus turned back to Raf; his voice held a little smile in it. That's cute of him. I thought, before becoming baffled at where this weird feeling keeps coming from.

"Thought would be awesome." Raf got excited.

Maddie looked up to Optimus in question. "Could we maybe use an unoccupied room? I can create a small snow cloud and drop the temp a little. If it's alright." She looked a little hopeful at Optimus waiting for permission, wanting to help make Raf happy.
