Katsuki is shaken awake. He rubs his eyes to adjust, sitting up groggily. He groans, finally opening his eyes to see a certain pink haired friend blocking his vision. Katsuki sighs as he watches her step back and give him an obnoxious smile.
"Good morning sunshine!" Mina exclaims happily. She reaches out her hands and pushes the curtains to the side, the entire room brightening up by the sunlight. "The fuck do you want now?" Katsuki groans, eyes adjusting to the bright light as he pulls the covers to his chest.
Katsuki absolutely hated the mornings. Nighttime? Sure. Mornings? Fuck off. He hated when people were all bright and cheery in the morning, it just ruined his day. If he has to be woken up like this the entire vacation, might as well book a flight back already.
"There was this place I wanted to check out, it's a cute little bookstore I saw." Mina explains, putting her hands on her hips. The fuck? Katsuki didn't even know Mina could read. "As if, you're fucking illiterate." Katsuki remarks, earning an exaggerated pout from Mina.
"No, I'm serious. Ive been wanting to go to one but books are expensive and Sero told me that the bookstore here was wayyy cheaper than the bookstores back home" She further explains, moving her hands around as she talks.
Katsuki thinks at that, since Mina could have taken Kirishima or Kaminari, but she just had to wake Katsuki up. But before he could even say anything, Mina continues as if she had just read his mind, "I tried asking Kirishima and Kaminari but they just refused to wake up, they seem pretty jetlagged."
Katsuki lets out a loud sigh, "Ugh, fine. I'll be outside in five minutes." At that, Mina takes her leave and Katsuki rises from the bed, heading to the bathroom to freshen up. After brushing his teeth vigorously and changing into something presentable, he puts on his shoes and meets Mina outside.
Mina smiles when he comes out and puts her palm up, a few scribbles in pen marked on her palm. Katsuki raises an eyebrow at her, giving her a 'what the fuck?' look.
"It's the directions to the bookstore!" She grins, as Katsuki facepalms at her stupidity, rubbing his temples in irritation. "You had to be dropped on the head as a baby" He sneers. Katsuki knew better than to trust the directions of Mina, or rather, anybody in his group. They always seemed to get lost in the most randomest of areas, needing Katsuki to guide them to the actual destination.
"I'm gonna ignore the fact you said that. So anyway! We go straight and then make a left when we see a pine tree, according to my hand." Mina says confidently, already starting to walk straight ahead.
Katsuki rolls his eyes and lets out another irritated sigh as Mina gets on his nerves by her stupidity once again. He shoves his hands in his pockets and starts walking with her.
A few minutes in, Mina stops abruptly, pointing at a tall pine tree infront of the two with a wide smile, "Found the pine tree! Now from here we take a.." she looks at the messy handwriting on her palm before continuing, "a left!"
"There's actually no way you're this stupid," Katsuki pauses for a second, then continuing, "actually, you are this stupid." He scowls taking a left and walking ahead of Mina.
Internally, Katsuki was a little shocked at the fact that nobody was crowding around the two or even paparazzi following them with cameras. In fact, this was just peaceful. Nobody with hidden phones out, nobody following them, and nobody invading Katsuki's personal space. Maybe this small town was a miracle blessed upon Katsuki.
Mina walks behind him, but she immediately gasps when she sees the bookstore in her vision. "See! I didn't mess up the directions this time!" She grins happily, skipping over to Katsuki. "Yeah, yeah, this time" He retorts, rolling his eyes.
