I woke up early to go outside and feel the warmth of the sunlight this morning. I took a seat on the entrance to the cabin and closed my eyes taking in the sounds around me. It felt different from the other days I've been here, It felt comforting. Almost as if Apollo himself was giving me a hug. I wish i could stay in it's warmth the whole day but Will tapped my shoulder and gave a smile.

"It's nice isn't it?" He stood next to me and crossed his arms staring oddly majestically into the sunrise. I exhaled and opened my eyes. "Yeah, it-... it feels nice." He put a hand on my shoulder. "Welp, let's get to work." He held out his hand so he could help me up.
We both chatted and joked while we walked to the infirmary.

Will and I went over all the stuff i needed to do and follow and i was surprised that i knew so much about this field of work-. I put on my surgical gloves and sighed. While waiting for a patient i hummed a song to myself and i grabbed my clip board and began to draw. The door opened but i was too focused on my drawing. Will greeted them and told them to sit down on one of the beds. "Would it be ok if i sent an understudy to work on you?" Will asked the patient politely. I assume the patient said yes because Will walked over to me and gave me some advice and tips.

"You'll do great." He gave me a smile and a thumbs up then walked away to take care of other patients. I sighed and rolled my rolling stool over to the bed. I held my clip board in my hands and flipped the paper to the notes side. I put on a friendly smile and brought my head up. "So how can i hel-..." i froze. I felt my heart skip a couple beats and my eyes go a tad wider. "Wow-... Your eyes look just like Spring time." I accidentally spoke out loud. "Oh i- ha- sorry, that was unnecessary-" The girl gave a small smile. "Oh no, it's ok, I've never had anyone compare my eyes to Spring before-" i felt a tad bit of relief when she didn't yell at me for saying that, but her voice was so welcoming and calming. I wanted to talk to her some more but i should probably just get my job over with so she can go back to whatever she was doing-.

"So uh- what's the problem?" I grabbed my pen from the counter so i could write down some stuff. "Uhh-" she hesitated for quite a long time. "I kind of got into a fight with some kid. Ares cabin i think? They were picking on some of the unclaimed kids and i just couldn't stand it." I stared at her for a moment in shock. "Well- uh- that's actually pretty valid." I spun my chair around and got some bandaids and bandages along with some rubbing alcohol to clean the wounds she had.

"That's it you're free to go, Have a nice day!" I waved and smiled but it wasn't a fake smile. It was a genuine smile and i had actual excitement in my voice! Maybe this job is for me.
