The Hunt for the lost Hero (Salene's POV)

Chapter 1- "The First day of Summer"

Well, There is no good way to start this so, In the words of a good friend of mine. "Look. I didn't want to be a Half-blood."

Now you may be asking, "What's a Half-blood." Well In a short summary it's when a god and mortal have a child. Basically a better way of saying Demi-god, I guess- I don't really know-. My mom dropped me off at this weird Greek mythology themed camp and i really don't have anything better to do than stay here so I'm just keeping track of all of the days I've spent here. Today I was escorted throughout the camp they call "Camp Half-blood" by my satyr (who's name was Stephan) who i thought was my best friend trying to help me get through school but apparently he was trying to get me through life-... yay!... He introduced me to Chiron and he led me to the cabin (Cabin 11 the Hermes Cabin.) I'll be staying in for now until i get claimed by my godly parent. So far camp seems nice i guess- we had a capture the flag thingy the night i came to camp apparently it's a tradition here. I found out i sucked ass at it... anyway that's how i met my friend Percy you guys should know him already tho, he's really popular around here. Apparently he's one of the "Big three". If you don't know what that is basically there are three gods Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. who weren't supposed to have kids because they'd be too powerful..... Yeah, they broke that rule. I'm trying to get along with the kids at camp but i just can't find the courage to talk or do anything. I mean, i want to talk and play but i just physically can't. If i did try I'd just start to have a panic attack. But I'm trying my best. Maybe camp won't be so bad after all, right?
