Part 4 ♤Sickness and Love♤

Melody was sitting in a chair next to a counter that had all kinds of medications, needles, and bandages on it. Angelica, Melody's trant mother was layed down on a bed, caughing a few times while God held Angelica's hand. They were all "lovey-dovey" but Melody just rolled her eyes, clearly disgusted by what shes seeing. They were all waiting for Dr.Raphael to come inside the room but instead, his right hand came in. It was Dr.Belphegor.

Dr.Belphegor: "Good afternoon. May i ask your names, please?"

God and Angelica looked up at Dr.Belphegor immidietly but Melody's mind was somewhere else. Her mind was on Dr.Raphael as she looked at the needles and medications.

Oh, how many times he bend her over that counter.

Melody bit her lip gently as she let out a sigh, even the the thought of Dr.Raphael made her aroused. Melody's thoughts were interupted as God began speaking.

God: "oh, right. Angelica Magne, God and Melody Mag-"

Melody: "Morningstar. Melody Morningstar."

God and Angelica were suprised that Melody refered to herself as Morningstar. After Lucifer was cast out Melody's siblings stopped using the Morningstar name.

Dr.Belphegor: "Angelica Magne, God and Melody-"

Dr.Belphegor went quiet as he recognised that name. It was the person Dr.Raphael refused to shut up about. And of course, he also recognised her looks which was suprising, becuse Dr.Belphegor barley sees her and whenever he actually does see her is when he catches her with Dr.Raphael so this is probably the first time Dr.Belphegor actually sees her with clothes on. She was the person Dr.Belphegor caught Dr.Raphael having sex with.

Of course, Dr.Belphegor has catched them having sex many times. Dr.Belphegor looked Melody up and down and then looked at the bed Angelica was resting in. Thats the bed they had sex in many times. But, he decided to stay quiet instead of sniching.

Melody's parents cant know about this after all.

Dr.Belphegor: "and Melody Morningstar. Got it, thank you!"

With that Dr.Belphegor turned around to leave but before he left he gave Melody a teasing smirk. Melody just rolled her eyes in an innocent playfull manner but she made sure her parents didnt see that. After that, Dr.Belphegor left and she went back to starring at the medication on the counter.

After a few moments Dr.Raphael came inside the room with the results in his hands. Melody and Dr.Raphael looked at each other for a few moments before Dr.Raphael broke the eyecontact and looked at Melody's parents. Dr.Raphael was about to speak but God, eagerly spoke up before Dr.Raphael could.

God: "so what are the test results?"

Melody was annoyed by how her dad spoke. How dare he speak while her lover was just about to speak? What a fucking asshole.

Dr.Raphael: "im sorry to say this, but Mrs.Magne has heart cancer."

Yeah, cancer exists even in Heaven. It is a really rare desease for angels unlike for humans. But for angels cancer is really different. For them, its only deadly if attacks the brain, skin, or the heart. But the heart is really rare. And it shouldnt have happend if Melody didnt come into play. Becuse Melody poisoned her mother. Where did she get the poison from again? It was a sinner that dealed with poison. What was his name again? Oh, right...

Its Thomas Hartfelt.

Melody knew him since Azrael had intruduced Thomas to her years ago. That Thomas guy, has some big trust issues. She didnt think she would ever use his serveces. But here she was, Buying poison to poison her own mother.

This cancer poison was a special request from Melody towards Thomas. He usually doesnt make poisons that causes cancer, but since Melody is a part of the royal family he decided to make an acception for her.

Its not like Angelica doesnt deserve it though. Angelica is a trant just like Melody's aunt, the Queen of Hearts. And probably nobody likes Angelica accept for God.

In God's eyes Angelica is an "angel" who cant hurt anyone. No suprise there, since Angelica act all "innocent" around God. But behind his back she is a cold hearted bitch.

Angelica's and God's face went pale, not knowing what to say. They were devestated. Dr.Raphael had to held back a smirk, since he hated how they treated Melody. Hated how they treated his lover.

Dr.Raphael: "i am truly sorry."
(Not really)

God: "Can she be saved?"

Dr.Raphael: "im sorry, but my answer is no. Enjoy being with her while shes still conscious. Im honestly suprised shes not dead yet. Its impressive."

God noded understanding what Dr.Raphael said. He picked Angelica up from the bed and turned to the door. Melody also stood up from her chair, ready to leave.

God: "thank you for the information. We will be going now."

Dr.Raphael noded, happy that he doesnt have to see their faces anymore. But he is sad to see Melody go. Melody walked out along with God.

After taking a few steps away from the healing chambers Melody spoke up.

Melody: "Father, i need to go back. I forgot to ask something about my low of iron."

God: "Go back, i dont care."

Yeah, Melody's parents think Melody has low iron becuse of how pale she usually is and becuse of that they never suspected anything about why she hangs out around the healing chambers for so long.

Little did they know...

Melody went back running into the healing chambers. Dr.Raphael already waited there with open arms, waiting for her to run back. Melody jumped into his arms and wrapped her arms around his neck. Dr.Raphael wrapped his arms around her waist and held her tightly while she leaned her head aginst his chest with a smile on her face.

Dr.Raphael: "I love you."

Melody: "I love you too."

Melody pulled Dr.Raphael into a passionate kiss which Dr.Raphael quickly returned. Melody and Dr.Raphael loved each other very much ever since they were kids. He gave her the love and attention that her parents never did. And after a while, attraction and romance formed between the two.
