Evenings with Hyunjin- Edited

You were walking up to your apartment door after work. As you were getting ready to unlock the door, it opened before you could enter the code. You looked up only to see a smiling Hyunjin standing there with the door open.

"Hey, I thought you wouldn't be home until later?" You questioned him while moving around him to take your shoes off. He shut the door behind you and waited till your shoes were off to hug you. The hug was long overdue and well-needed.

"I decided to surprise you. We were pretty much done with today so I decided to leave early to try and beat you home." He explained to you while backing away from the hug to help you take your coat off to hang it up.

"Either way I am happy that you are home early". You told him while giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. He followed you into the kitchen where you started to pull stuff out to make dinner.

After dinner was made and everything was all eaten, the two of you moved to the living room to watch a movie or a drama.

As we were sitting on the couch, you moved so your head was resting on his left shoulder and he wrapped his right arm around you. He was flipping through Netflix trying to find something good to watch.

"Oh, what about My Demon? I heard it was a really good one." You told him while taking the remote to search for it.

"What is it about?" He asked you while laying his head on top of your head.

"It's about a guy who is essentially the Devil, but he meets a girl and his powers transfer over to her and they try to figure out how to return his power and they fall in love on the way." You informed him while setting the remote on the table after you clicked on the drama.

(A/N: If you haven't watched this drama I highly recommend it. It was so good, and I have watched it probably about 3 times)

"Sounds like a romantic drama, but we can watch it. I'm fine with anything you want to watch." He told you while turning the side table lamp off.

About 30 minutes into the 2nd episode, you could hear him start snoring. You just rolled your eyes knowing that this would happen. If it doesn't have any action or something like that he always falls asleep.

Once the 2nd episode ended, you grabbed the remote so that you could turn the TV off since it was late and you were tired of watching TV as well. You slowly moved your head away so the movement wouldn't wake him up.

You just sat there for a minute to look at his peaceful sleeping face. You felt bad waking him up knowing he is always working hard to be able to debut. With him working hard, he doesn't sleep or eat like he should be doing.

You ended up deciding to just bite the bullet and wake him up. You set your hand on his shoulder to see if that would wake him up, nothing. After that failed, you decided to shake him harder to see if that did the trick, but still nothing. With both attempts failing, you just decided to leave him be and go to bed by yourself. He will wake up eventually from his back hurting from the couch.

You shut all the lights off in the living room and kitchen. You decided to be nice and grabbed the throw blanket that was kept on the back of the couch and set it over him gently so he wouldn't get cold during the night.

After all that was done, you walked into the bathroom to take a shower and wind down for the night with a good book. Once you turned the water on in the shower, you got undressed and hopped in. The shower must have woken Hyunjin up as you heard the brown bathroom door creek open.

You peeked out of the shower only to see him standing there while starting to brush his teeth. You decided to just close the curtain and continue the shower. As you were rinsing out your hair, he decided to finally start talking.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" He quietly asked you as he moved to sit on the counter so the conversation could keep going. You just yanked the curtain open a bit and looked at him with a deadpan look on your face.

"I tried to, but nothing was waking you up so I just left you there. At least I gave you a blanket." You pointed out to him. He just looked away from you and left the bathroom to go to bed knowing he wasn't going to win this conversation.

"I'm tired as hell so I'm heading to bed, take your time to unwind, no need to rush. I love you." He told you while closing the bathroom door.

You just yelled back at him telling him that you loved him, and continued with the shower. Once all that was done, your face was washed, and you were all dressed and ready for bed.

You walked out of the bathroom to see him passed out on his side of the bed. He had his mouth wide open and was snoring extremely loudly. Nothing new with him. You grabbed your book and went to your side of the bed to pull the covers back so you could be comfortable enough to read.

Once you got settled in bed, you had one hand holding the book while the other was running back and forth through his hair. He just hummed and rolled over onto his side while he fell into a deep sleep.

After about 30 minutes you decided to get some sleep as your eyes were starting to get heavy. You set your book on the bedside table, turn the light off, and lay down to go to sleep.

As you closed your eyes after you got comfy, You felt Hyunjin roll around and felt him wrap his arm around your waist and pull you into his chest to cuddle. It didn't take too long for your eyes to get heavy with sleep again. You just scooted back into his chest and the warmth he was producing made you close your eyes and fall into a deep sleep.
