ARANYAK
"Sahab?" My eyes opened because of the sudden voice as I rubbed my eyes glanced up at Vijay kaka who was standing in a little distance.
I looked around, just to realised that I'm in the drawing room. Fuck. I fall asleep here. I was so into the Italian project that I just fucking ended up sleeping here.
"Aap yahan?" Vijay kaka again asked as I rubbed my hand on my face. (You are here?)
"Ek cup coffee dijiyega" I said slowly, trying to ignore his first question about why I slept here. He quickly nooded and walked into the kitchen without any further questions. (Give me one cup coffee)
How the fuck I just slept here? Shit. Most of the family members didn't know that we two spend nights seperated. In another rooms.
I sighed and leaned against the sofa, drop my head backwards. "Apka coffee" I heard Vijay kaka's voice as I nooded. (Your coffee)"Table par rakh dijiye" he nooded and placed the cup on the desk infront of me. He didn't asked any further questions and walked into the kitchen. (Put it on the table)
Maybe he's confused, because I was used to stay in my room or in the study room, if I had much works but I barely spend nights in the living room, even sleeping.
I took the cup from the desk and peaceful take the first sip. I needed it fucking so much. More than anything else.
"You slept here?" Suddenly maa's voice made me glanced back at the stairs as my eyes fall on her standing on the last stair. I knew it. Somehow I would face her.
"Really, I know very well that you and Sita don't stay in same room." She said in a disappointed voice and walked towards my direction.
"Good morning" I said lowly, trying to ignore the conversation she's going to start now. She sat on the sofa, infront of me. "Don't ignore my words, ok and show your toughness infront of others"
"What do you actually want to know, maa? Why we both don't stay in the same room? Should we? We both don't have that type of relationship between us so we can spend nights in a same room although we are married. Legal husband and wife" I said, really now in a rough and low tone. I hate everytime this topic bring up.
"How long you are thinking about continuing this? You two are not some kind of unimportant relationship. You two are husband and wife Aranyak, what you will say to everyone when they will ask you why you and Sita doesn't spend nights in a same room? Maybe you are trying to give respect to her privacy but at least try to get close with each other. You both can't ignore each other for the whole life " I placed the coffee cup on the desk and sat straight.
"We'll talk about this later, maa" I said before standing up from the sofa. "Again, come to the garden at night. Don't forget " she said as I glanced back at her.
"Why?" She sighed and nooded. "I'm telling, that's why " she said in a serious tone as I turned around and walked upstairs.
..."What's your opinion about this, Sir?" The man asked and stared at me as I leaned against the chair and crossed my one leg on another.
"Do it again, I don't think it's worth anything" the man's little smile disappeared from his face as he looked back at his file before at me.
"Aditya, Identify his mistakes infront of me" I spoke as Aditya glanced back at me before nodding.
"And let me know about the Sweden project" Aditya nooded and looked at his laptop infront of him.
I can still feel a little pain on my back because of sleeping in the sofa for whole night. Damnit.
But still, I'm not thinking about giving maa's thoughts any importance. I obey her orders but in this case, I can't. And I don't want also.
