Fourth woke up sleeping on the couch, covered in a light blanket. His eyes hurt, a bit blurry, and they were probably swollen and puffy from all the crying he did. He was thankful that Tinn didn't ask him anything and was there just there for him."You are awake." He heard a very familiar voice say, and his breath hitched.
"I bought food earlier on. I can heat them up if you want." The familiar voice said and as Fourth turned to look at the direction the voice was coming from he was met with the face that belonged to the boy he once loved with all his being, but that was not him. It will never be him despite being the spitting image of Gemini. He wasn't Gemini.
This was Tinn. Sweet, caring, and loving Tinn. Tinn, whose heart belonged to Gun but he wasn't Gun, and he wasn't willing to become Gun. If he was going to live this life, he was going to be unapologetically himself. Mae Gim knew the truth anyway. He will just drift in this universe, hoping it ends quickly so he could be reunited with his loved ones again.
"What are you still doing here?" Fourth asked.
"You were not fine, so I didn't want to leave you alone." Tinn, sweet Tinn explained.
"You didn't have to." Fourth replied, rubbing his eyes.
"I know. I wanted to." Tinn said softly.
"Why? Why do you care if I am alone or not?" Fourth asked which he knew was a dick move because he knew exactly why Tinn was there. He knew how much Tinn cared about Gun, and he knew Tinn would never in a million years leave Gun upset alone.
"Because I care about you." Tinn replied, recoiling in on himself and for a second there Fourth hated himself for causing that reaction.
"Well, don't." Fourth said, and he watched as Tinn retreated himself even further. This wasn't right. Tinn didn't deserve any of this, but Fourth was so angry.
"I... I'll leave. Let me just heat up food for you so you can eat something. You haven't eaten all day." Tinn replied softly. Fourth felt like an asshole.
"Tinn... I am sorry. I shouldn't have lashed out on you like that." Fourth said, letting out a breath.
"It's okay. I understand." Tinn ever," the sweetheart replied.
"No, it's not. And you shouldn't be understanding, especially if someone treats you like... like this." Fourth said.
"Gun-"
"Don't! Don't call me that." Fourth said, cutting Tinn off.
"I- I am sorry." Tinn apologised, sounding confused and hurt.
"Stop doing that! Stop apologising and stop being nice to me. Just leave me alone, okay? Please leave." Fourth said, he could feel the tears brimming in his eyes once again.
"Gun... I- I am sorry." Tinn said in the smallest voice possible and Fourth hated himself for it.
"Just leave. Please." Fourth said, looking away from Tinn.
"Okay. The food is on the kitchen counter. Please eat something. Take care, Gun, and I'm sorry for upsetting you." He heard Tinn say with a voice trembling as if he was about to cry.
Fourth listened until he heard the door close, and he collapsed on the floor, crying once again until he exhausted himself. He hated himself for what he just did, but it was for the best. He didn't mean to hurt Tinn, sweet, sweet Tinn, but lately, it seems that's all he had been doing. Hurting people who didn't deserve to be hurt. First Gemini, now Tinn.
He was woken up by a pair of hands on his shoulders and a sweet female voice calling his name.
"Fourth, honey, why are you sleeping on the floor?" He looked up he was met with the concerned eyes of Mae Gim.
