In the end, Tony and Steve finally managed to return to the mansion, just as the sunrises and painted the whole mansion eerie red and black; Tony who experienced the madness of last night couldn't help but relax at the creepy sight in front of him. If only Tony can run away somewhere where no one will find him, but the thing was, Tony was not ready to have his tower or his beautiful Malibu house destroyed, even if it was tempting to run away and hide in them for a few days at a time.

A part of Tony was still in denial about the date… well about the second part of the date, the first part was pleasant enough, it was the second part that made Tony want to run to the hills; everyone and their mother knew that Tony will never ever get inside a cemetery even with the threat of death, not after what he saw the day of his parents' burial. Hell! Tony gave Pepper, Rhodey, and Happy a strict instruction in his will; that if he to ever die in the field, they are to cremate him and dump him in the bottom of the sea.

Reaching the front entrance to the mansion, Tony planned to go straight to the bed and sleep this horrible day, possibly stay in his room for the rest of his short life. Opening the door, Tony nearly turned around and run away from the sight in front of him, and Tony would have success if Steve wasn't behind him pushing him inside with his huge body, uncaring that he just signed Tony's death.

There stood Pepper smiling as she chatted with a human Natasha and Bucky (Since when the two returned back to their former selves?) how in the name of every holy thing did Pepper manage to come inside the house without something attacking her? Tony wasn't unhappy with seeing his friend, but the thing was Tony know he will die by her hands if she realized what Steve and he were up to last night, and haven't Tony forbid Pepper from coming to the mansion?

"Tony, here you are!" Pepper smiled when she saw him, and Tony had to hide his grimace, already imagining how his life will end by Pepper's high heels. "Oh, hello Steve." Pepper said after she noticed Steve behind Tony, blushing a little when Steve's eyes fell on her and Tony doesn't know if he should run away at this second or say his last prayers.

"So where did you two go to? I can't imagine that you will take so long as to return the next morning." Natasha asked her eyes were cold and hard as they took Tony in, making the genius wince and tried to back away when he saw Pepper tilt her head in confusion. In the back of his mind, Tony begged Rogers not to take the bait that Natasha throw; Tony was so going to die…

Bucky on the other hand was glaring hard at Tony, trying to make him burst in flames with the power of his glare alone; God, what Tony wouldn't give for that to happen at this moment, especially when Pepper seemed to be putting two and two together. "Tony…" Pepper stated in a low tone making Tony swallow and tried to back away before Pepper decided to skin him and using him to make a new shoes.

"W-well, y-you see… I…" Tony stuttered, his eyes glancing around wildly as he tried to find a way out of this; oh my God, he was going to die, he was going to die by the hands of his friends just because he had the unwanted affection of a crazy Addams, oh why God? Why?!

"The two of us went on a date last night!" Steve stated in a cheerful voice that made dread consume Tony as he looked back at Steve planning to give him a few hits for signing his death on a golden plate; what Tony saw when he gazed at Steve made him flinch and back away from Steve. "Why? Do you have a problem?" The tone Steve used may have been cheerful, but the look in Steve's eyes promised death and pain to all those who oppose him, and for the second time that day, Tony realized why Steve was the scariest assassin of all.

Tony gazed at his (Ex?) friends as they flinched at the harsh look in Steve's eyes, Tony even saw Bucky and Natasha take a step back; probably fearing that Steve will turn them into flies this time and try to kill them by dumbing them with a hungry spider… wow, wasn't Tony's imagination running wilder now? "Remember the deal…" Tony gritted out, even if he wanted to not die, Tony can't have Steve turned the Avengers to whatever he liked, not when an attack on the world could happen any minute now.
