What if Grover was on the argo II

I: Nico

A/N 1 & 2 - THESE ARE NOT MY CHARACTERS. This is pretty much the same plot but I changed somethings. Also I k now Nico doesn't have a POV in the end of this book but who gives a shit. Also by the way js bc this has the same plot doesn't mean its the same like writing stuff bc I'm not talented enough for that

I was still exhausted and weak but with Hazel's help I made it to the deck with the others. Leo had flown the Argo II, until Percy shouted Annabeth's name and pointed toward the ground. The Argo II landed and Percy bolted off the ship.

"Percy!" Annabeth shouted, pain and terror in her voice.

"Where are you!?" Percy shouted, looking at the rubble everywhere.

"Here!" Annabeth screamed.

Percy ran into the rubble, the rest of us following slowly.

Percy ran to Annabeth hugging her, "Its ok, were together now."  

Grover joined the hug, "ANNABETH!"

Piper ran over to Annabeth, "Gods, what happened to your foot!"

She explained her long journey to us. About finding the Athena parthenos, outsmarting arachne, and using minimal supplies through it all.

"You did... all of this with a broken ankle?" Jason asked, amazement on his face.

"You tricked Arachne into making her own trap... that's amazing!" Percy squeezed her shoulders.

"We'll have to make some organizational adjustments... but the Athena Parthenos should fit." Leo said, staring at the giant statue.

"What about you guys?" Annabeth asked.

Percy then explained how the others had found and saved me. 

" So the mortal door is in Epirus... ok, that's possible." Annabeth whispered.

"It's the other side that's the real problem." I mumbled.

"Bacchus said my journey would be more difficult.." Percy began.

The chasm shook, and Percy pulled annabeth closer to him.

Leo shouted, "Frank get to the deck!"

"Secure the statue!" Annabeth yelled.

Everyone started sprinting towards the ship. Except for me of course, since I could barely walk. 

Suddenly Annabeth screamed, I turned to see her falling onto her face. Hazel shouted, "Cut it! Help her!"

I began running to her aid, but she had already been dragged over the pit, taking Percy with her.

I made it to the edge, seeing Percy hanging on a lower ledge in the pit, while gripping her wrist. Annabeth had anguish on her face as spider silk was wrapped around her ankle, pulling her down. I threw my hand out in a hope to help them up. 

"Percy let me go." Annabeths voice was desperate and dry.

"Never." He looked up at me, "The other side, Nico! We'll see you there. Understand?"

My eyes widened as I realized what he was saying, "But-"

"Lead them there! Promise me!" Percy shouted, his face pale from effort.

"I-I will."  I promised, realizing how dangerous his plan was.

Percy looked at Annabeth, "Were staying together. You're not getting away from me. Never again." He promised her.

"As long as we're together." Annabeth looked at him, gratitude and fear in her eyes.

"Guys! Get over here!" I shouted. Tartarus was so dangerous, they could die, they're going to suffer... they cant do this. 

Grover ran over to the ledge, followed by the others. "Percy! Annabeth!" He screamed looking into the pit as the two began falling together.

"No!" Hazel cried.

"We need to go... he told me... that he'd meet us at the doors of death.." I mumbled.

Grover looked down at the pit, then back to us, taking a few steps forward.

"Get away from the edge!" Hedge shouted.

"They rescued me, I'll return the favor." He looked at the pit, "Youve got this." He said, though to us or himself, I didn't know.

"No, Grover. It's too dange-"

He jumped.

"NO! GOD OF THE WIND! PLEASE!" Hedge ran to the edge.

Grover was free falling into the pit, Percy and Annabeth a few feet below him.

A/N 1 - Hey there. I hope this exceeds your expectations. I want to say that Grover will be VERY IMPORTANT IN THIS STORY

A/N 2 - hi. this isn't my best writing to be brutally honest... I was distracted(Watching tangled: The Series) and js struggling for no apparent reason. when the story is finished I might rewrite it but for now here you go. hope you like! :bbbbb
