"You may leave us be" Helaena muttered as she ordered her nephew's nanny away. The lady bowed her head before dashing past her and out the room.
It had been two weeks since the victory in Drone, if murdering hundreds was what her brother called a Victory. Helaena had kept herself away from the court, she had kept away from Aegon. She was still not over the fact he had dragged her back from dragonstone.
Then there was Visenya who had just entered her fifth month of her pregnancy the maesters had claimed the babe would be born within the new year. A new year was something Helaena looked forward to. If the war against Dorne could end by then and Helaena would thank the gods.
She also couldn't help but wonder why she was even wed to Aegon if Visenya was already three moons with child when she did. Two moons had passed since she was married To Aegon and she hated every minute of it.
Still Visenya and Aegon had no need for her nor did they in the first place. Aegon had his heir Aneys and then he had another one coming.
Helaena sighed watching her nephew play with a wooden dragon, she swore it was a small wooden version of Balerion.
She stayed there for almost an hour playing with the small boy. He was all that was left of Rhaenys and that hurt her.
She had been reunited with Aegon and Visenya. Even if she wished that never happened, Rhaenys was long dead before they came crawling to her in hope for a marriage.
She hardly remembered Rhaenys and that hurt her more than most things. She sighed as she got up and left her nephew ready for the day to end even if the night sky hadn't set.

"Valera" Helaena spoke loudly as she walked into her ladys chambers to find her sat talking to a knight. A knight she and Valera had grown up with on dragonstone.
Helaena watches as Rickon stands up quickly and bows his head "Princess, I mean your grace"
"There is no need for titles Ser Rickon" Helaena smiled softly, she had hardly seen him in the two moons she had been in king's landing.
"Your grace" Rickon muttered but soon enough returned Helaenas smile "I should go"
"Rickon" Valera stopped him as Helaena watched the two "You are doing a great job at protecting our queen"
"Indeed you are Ser Rickon" Helaena adds on as he bows his head then walks out making Helaena realise another thing had changed "What were the two of you speaking about"
"Helaena"
"I asked you something"
"The king does not like Rickon that much"
"Rickon has been our friend since we were children, the three of us grew up together on dragonstone" Helaena reminded her "I couldn't care less about what my brother thinks, Rickon is staying no matter what"
"Of course"
"Visenya is to welcome her child within the new year"
"A spring child" Valera states as Helaena nods "Where have you been"
"I've been with my nephew, he's a sweet boy and reminds me of Rhaenys. Well of what I remember of her"
"Let us go on a walk or you could go on a fly"
"I think i shall have dinner then retire for the night"
"You can't dine alone"
"I still do not wish to see Aegon and Visenya is five nearly six moons with child, Can you imagine how easily she could get mad"
"I can imagine very well"
Helaena sends her lady a soft smile before leaving the room to her own.
************************************
Helaena had just come back from flying with Saphira and was ready to call it a night. She wished to retire and sleep. Even if she didn't know what to do on the morrow.
She had kept herself away from Aegon and Visenya. Since her brother had dragged her back from dragonstone in the middle of the night. And yet she felt just as lonely as she did a few moons ago.
But Helaena wouldn't apologise this time nor would she change for her brother. She never wanted to be his wife. All she wanted was her sisters and brother back. She wanted both her sisters back, but in the end she was stuck as some replacement. So Aegons line could carry on even if Helaena had been useless in that department as well.
Aegon had his heir with Rhaenys. Aneys was small and fragile, but Helaena knew the boy could perhaps one day be a good king. If not there was Visenya babe boy or not they'd be a better choice of an heir then any children Helaena may ever bare.
Just as she was about to head to her bed she heard her doors open. There was no knock so Helaena knew it was either the king or her sister.
She sighed as she walked towards her window looking into the night sky waiting to find out who had entered.
"Littlest dragon"
Those two words made Helaena sigh of relief. Visenya was much more bearable than her brother even if she was five moons with child
"You didn't join me or our brother for dinner"
"I havent for two weeks" Helaena stated as she kept her eyes on the night sky.
"What happened that night on Dragonstone" Visenya spoke up in a stern voice. She hadn't been able to find out from Aegon what had happened. So perhaps Helaena would tell her.
"Nothing Visenya"
"Look at me, littlest dragon" Visenya demanded, waiting for Helaena to do just that. But Helaena remained quiet "You'll get a cold if you stand near the window all night. If your not careful you could fall"
"Perhaps I wish to" Helaena whispered.
"Helaena if you do not move I shall move you myself"
Helaena held back scoff as she moved away from the window her eyes going onto Visenya "You should be resting sister"
"And you shouldn't be ignoring our brother. You are acting like a child"
"Haven't you even took a minute to think just how young I am" Helaena snapped back "Or the fact you all abandoned me"
"We were at war Helaena" Visenya reminded her "You were just a child"
"Yes I was just a child andOur parents were gone" She paused. "I was left behind, Then I found out by a raven that my sister was dead. Then almost a year later yous return"
"Littlest d-"
"No, don't call me that. Not when I speak the truth" Helaena shouted.
"That is not true"
"Go Visenya, You need to rest and I wish to sleep"
Visenyas face softens her stern look no longer there "You can think whatever you can. But you are a queen now and you have duties"
"Duties i never asked for"
Visenya says nothing as she walks out the girls chambers, her stern look returning as soon as she sees two guards walk past. Even if the Targaryens were broken in different ways they couldn't show any weaknesses. Helaena just had to learn that and it would take some time.
An- I kinda adore this chapter, Visenya kinda knows more about how Helaena felt while she was alone growing up on dragonstone.
