A Mattheo Riddle fanfic.
Y/n smith is a 14 year old female pure blood witch. She is going into 8th grade at a muggle school because her evil adopted family refuses to let her embrace her true self. will she ever make it to Hogwarts?
I wake up the next morning to a blinding white light that fills the black room. I look over to the window to see that it is snowing through the crack in the curtains. I get up for the bed and walk over to the bathroom. I brush my hair putting it up into a messy bun. I did not worry about my outfit since Theo said we were opening our presents in pj's. I hear a knock on the door.
"Merry Christmas princess." Theo said while walking into my room.
"Merry Christmas Theo."
"We're about to open presents, come on." He tries to pull me out of the room.
"Wait Theo..." I grab the stack of presents walking back over to him. "Now we can go."
We made our way downstairs to the tree where everyone was waiting. We sat down next to each other on the couches that everyone was on. We slowly start to open our gifts one by one. I gave Narcissa her gift first and she seemed to love the muggle cookbook. Then it was Draco' s, he was slightly confused at first then after I showed him what it did he fiddled with it while the rest of us opened our gift. Then it was Bellatrix's turn. She opened my present, I instantly saw the smile on her face as she lifted up the boats to show everyone. They all also opened their other gifts. Now it was time for me to give Matteo his gift. I hope he likes it. He opened it then put it on right away as he examined it.
"Thank you Princess I love it.!"
"Look on the inside." He did as he was told, he took it by examining the inside his face lit up as he saw the inscription, Goodnight Theo written on it. He leaned over to me and placed a soft kiss on my cheek. I blushed madly at the feeling of his soft lips against my skin. As I look around I see the people surrounding us. Bellatrix looks happy, Narcissa looks kind of shocked, and Draco looks accomplished, smirking wildly at Mattheo.
"Ok umm y/n here is your present." Narcissa spoke first, handing me a large box that was wrapped in mat black wrapping. I opened it to see that it was a nice makeup set. "Well I know that you try to cover some of your scars, and the makeup you were wearing was not really working so I thought you could use some better stuff."
"Thank you so much." I smiled at her, I had never gotten a present on christmas before much less from my parents. So this really meant something to me. Then Bellatrix handed me a box that was bigger this time. I opened it to find a very nice black mini dress inside that would look perfect on me.
"I hear there are quite a few Slytherin parties at Hogwarts, though you could use a head start at outfit options." Bellatrix added after my reaction. I nod my head smiling in apparition. Then Draco handed me a box that turned out to have a wiserding camera not unlike the one Theo had brought to the dance.
"Thanks Draco."
"Ok ok my turn." Mattheo, unlike the others, handed me a bag. When I reached into the bag I felt a soft piece of fabric. When I pulled it out I saw that it was one of his hoodies, since I loved the other one o much. When I unfolded it a small box fell out of it. I opened it up, to reveal a beautiful necklace that had a beautiful ruby heart penmen. There was also on the end of the chin a little metal piece that had both of out initials on it. Now it was his turn to blush as I pressed a soft kiss to his check just like he did mine.

Later after lunch and everyone had put their presents away, Blaise and Astoria came over, we played outside in the fresh snow that was still accumulating in fluffy piles on the ground. We had a snowball fight. Well more that I hit Draco right in the back of his head while he was turned the other way. And that boy can teach you a thing or two about revenge. But pretty much a full scale war broke out. After a while we all got cold and when back inside, I changed out of my now very wet clothes into sweatpants and a t-shirt and his hoodie that I had received earlier today.
They left shortly before we sat down to dinner. After the festive feast Theo and I snuck off to go watch the snow fall as the sun set over the bar wonderland trees. We sat down on the platform like we had so many times before over the past week. There was a big fuzzy blanket up there since there was a spell protecting the ledge from weather. We huddle together under the blanket to stay warm.
"How was Christmas, princess?" He asked quietly since he was right next to me.
"Amazing. I have never actually celebrated Christmas. They just leave me there. The only present I have ever got was a little card from Leo. But I don't mind. Thank you for inviting me." I gently rest my head in the crook of his neck.
