Chapter 8

The next morning when I woke up I layed in bed for a while checking my phone. Which really did not have any notifications since no one ever called me. But I could play games. I got up at 10 and started to get ready for the day. I put on a t-shirt and leggings, I was still cold but I forgot to bring a hoodie so this will have to do. When I am done getting ready it is 10:30 so I thought I would find Theo. I look just on the surface of his mind to see his surroundings. I find that he is still in his room asleep. I decided to go wake him up since I had been up for two hours and felt weird wandering around on my own. When I get to the door I stop. I think about knocking, but where's the fun in that. So I walk in since I already knew he was asleep. I walk over to his bed and stand over him. He looked so peaceful. I hesitated for a moment, but nope I am not that nice.

"BOO" I whispered in his ear. He sat up real fast looking around then when he saw that it was just me he layed back down.

"I'm sleeping, go away!" He said in a playful childish tone.

"How about, no." I say taking a pillow and hitting him with it.

"Fine, fine I'm up"

"Good" I started to look around while he went to the bathroom to change. I found his wand on his bedside table. I pick it up and examine it while sitting on the edge of the bed.

Mattheo POV

I stand in the bathroom door frame watching her examine my wand. She looked so happy here. She looks up feeling me looking at her.

"Could you teach me a few spells?" She asks hopefully.

I smile walking over to her. "Yea sure, what do you want to learn Princess?"

"Umm well I have read about a lot of spells but could we start with something more basic, like Lumos."

"Sure, so take the wand and make a loop motion while saying the spell." I said while demonstrating. I hand my wand to her. She takes it and gets it on her first try. I was really impressed.

"Nox '' she says while making a wave shape in the air turning the light back off. I had not shown her that, she was a lot smarter than I thought.

"OK then what next?''

"Expelliarmus the disarming spell." She says with confidence.

"Ok well it is like a spiral motion, Expelliarmus."

"Expelliarmus." She says pointing it at me, the book that I had just picked up off the floor flew out of my hand. I look at her in shock. Wow, ok did not know that she was capable of this much already.

"Alright umm know that you mastered those in one try. I want to teach you how to heal injuries." She nods her head in response.

"Ok the spell is Episkey and you just hover it over the injury. We can't really try it out now since neither of us are injured but I want you to at least say it with the wand." I hand her the wand and she takes it hovering over a cut that I just noticed on the arm. It heals and disappears.

"Alright that is all I have to teach you for now and it is almost twelve."

"Can I try one more thing?" she says but I can't read her expression.

"Sure?" I say handing back my wand.

y/n POV

As he handed back his wand to me I concentrated on every time he smiled at me, on when I woke up in the hospital and he was still there, on when he saved me, on how he never let anyone hurt me, on his laugh, I thought about him.

"Expecto Patronum" As I said this a blue light came out of the wand in the form of a wolf. He was beyond impressed. He was amazed.

"What, how? What did you think about?" he asked dumbfounded

"You" I whispered. The love in his eyes at that moment...

No one in my entire life has ever cared about me as much as he does. When I tried to decide what memories to use for the spell the only thing I could think about was his smile, his laugh, how he made me feel. Yes I have had a crush or two. But I am starting to fall for Theo, but this feels so different from anything I have ever felt.
