Your cover is VERY important. It's the factor that makes someone pick up your story to have a look. Here are some do's and don'ts
Do:
Make it pretty
Make it pop
Make it interesting
Make it to do it's your story
Use animations of your characters, make it the climax scene if u wish
Make it enticingDont's:
Mix animations with real pictures
Make it basic/boring
Make it completely different to the story
Make it pretty (the illustrator for the TSATS cover did Nico and Will dirty)When you're making a cover I would recommend getting your photos from Pinterest. Get 2 or 3 and take it into Canva and make a cover with each, try to add effects and interesting text to make it more inviting. The fonts I use the most are Coterie, Quintessial and Cinzel Decorative. When you have multiple covers choose the best and make extra edits before using it. On Canva there have a template for Wattpad covers so just search 'Wattpad' and you'll find it.
