I wasn't too sure what else had happened at that party a few days ago. Only that Blinky had restored everything to the way it was before and most people had left, by the time I woke up next to Lea in my bed.
It was like my brain had a rift.
Neither did I know how I had gotten in my bed, nor had I any idea how things ended with Viktor. I seriously had to stop combining weed and vodka.
However, I felt good parting on somewhat friendly terms. Without any hatred. The one thing I knew, as I stepped onto the Hogwarts Express next to Daphne and Astoria, was that I was finally starting a new chapter, away from all the stress and confusing feelings of mine.
Oh how wrong I was..------
We forced ourselves through the crowded train, suitcases or ellbows occasionally hitting us, trying to find an empty compartment, which turned out to be a difficult task.
"Daphneeee will i really have to do this every damn year from now on? This is hell!"
"I agree- Also with you here everbody keeps fucking starring at us"
I raised my head, ineed suddenly feeling all eyes on me and a few people whispering to eachother.
"Well they should mind their business." I sighed heaving my suitcase along.
Luckily the small corridor was getting less crowded by second.
"The other Slytherins must have gathered at the end of the train this time Daphne sighed.
"Do you think I can just leave my stuff here?", I said huffing already dragging on the floor.
"So you used the extension charm on your bag, but didn't think of making it anymore lighter? You little blockhead", she laughed in my face as she saw me struggling.
"Maybe I can help?", a brunette with seemingly uncontrollable hair chimend in. She flicked her wand. " Depone"
And in and instant all of the weight disappeared and it seemed as if I was carrying a feather.
"Pheww you're a literal life saver!", I sighed.
She stuck out her hand "Hermione Granger. Pleased to meet you."
Hermione? As in THE Hermione?
I had to admit I was intrigued, as I mustered her up and down.
Actually, she wasn't at all what I expected. I mean she was beautiful for sure, but didn't seem to take care of her appearance that much. Not what Krum would usually go for. Though I was still interested in learning more about her.
Just to get a picture of the whole situation. I mean- She was the girl I got cheated on with!
To say I was obsessing over her and finding out about her, right after I caught on to what happened between the two of them would be an understatement.
But I was over the whole damn thing wasn't I?
"Lilyia, Lilyia Avery." I gave her a warm smile as I reached for her hand.
Then I noticed a ginger boy audibly gulping and giving me a hateful glance. Obviously a Weasly.
"As in Mr. Avery? Like the former Ministry number 2?"
"Yeah you're right.."
It was true. My dad had been Co-president of the ministry for quite a while before being forced to switch positions, mostly because of his negative views on muggle borns and generally muggles, but also for unfair treatment discrimination and abusing his power.
"You know my dad was almost fired twice because of this man. Although.. How is he even ALLOWED to work there? Wasn't he one of HIS most loyal followers? Not to mention your grandfather.."
"Well he was under a spell per say.. so that has been depunked.." I rolled my eyes. " However I've not even been in contact with him since like.. 4 years? So don't make ME responsible for that shit. I'm NOT like HIM."
He simply shot me another glance before dragging Hermione away, mumbling "Let's go find Harry"
Hmmm.. interesting."Pfffh.. That mudblood thinks she's on our level? Talking to us like that!", Daphne laughed as she continued walking to the back of the hallway.
"Really she is? She doesn't seem any different from us though? I've never actually met sb like that you know?"
"Don't let her decieve you. She's just not like us. She does not deserve to even interact with us.
None of those scums do. Don't get too friendly with them, I don't know how the others would react to that.", she pouted.
"Specifically.. Draco, I assume." I was aware of the "hierachy" by now. This was no normal friend group of course. Simply Draco oh so pureblooded and loaded Malfoy and his followers, who respected him simply because of his wealth and his father's influence. I didn't like it.
"That's correct. It seems you learn fast Durmstrang.", Daphne playfully poked my side as we made our way to the back. The rest of the ride to Hogwarts remained uneventful, just Malfoy showing off the new stuff he got and everyone being like "Oh WoW you're so cool! You're so GREAT. I wish I had that." I ended up just rolling my eyes while reading my books on advanced magical spells, while Blaise and I gave eachother side-eyes and ended up giggling a lot, which Malfoy didn't seem to like ONE BIT.
I just wanted to get out of here talk about something meaningful , that didn't revolve around him. I wanted to something fun, something exciting, something that would shock everyone.
