Mackenzie pulled up the straps of her green dress before letting her arms fall to her sides. She looked at herself in the mirror admiring the ruffles on her dress. She pushed her chocolate brown locks behind her ears. Her hair wasn't as curly as it was when she had left the LaRusso house with her family.
All her mother had told her about tonight was that they were going to the Country Club because her father needed to talked to Armand Zarkarian about some business details. Mackenzie originally couldn't make it because her and Briana were going to see a movie but she didn't feel well so she had to cancel.
Mackenzie didn't mind though, she always enjoyed going to the Country Club. The positive atmosphere and good food were a few of her reasons she loved being there, but most of all she adored getting dressed up because it made her feel pretty.
After fidgeting with her necklace for a few seconds, Mackenzie decided to go back out. She saw her mom and sister in the buffet line and made her way over there. "Hey guys." Mackenzie said as she greeted her mother and Sam.
"Hey, kiddo." Amanda said with a smile as Sam waved at her sister. The three LaRusso ladies made their way down the buffet line when Amanda spoke up, "By the way, thank you two for coming. Thought you both were gonna be out with your friends tonight."
"Yeah, um... I don't know. We were supposed to go to a concert together and then I saw this." Sam said as she pulled out her phone showing Amanda and Mackenzie a video of Yasmine and Moon at the concert.
