I have been invited to Garnet's wedding. What it started as beautiful festivity it turned as a fight for Earth when two of the most hated being arrive: Blue and Yellow Diamond.

Everyone was there, ready to celebrate Ruby and Sapphire's Wedding. Everyone Except me. I really wanted to be there with them, congratulate Sapphire and Ruby and take some notes for my future wedding with Peridot. But I was so afraid of the Diamonds, of an impending death. They also knew of the Diamond menace and the possibility of a war, but they were there, living their lives besides knowing what could happen. Unlike me, they were not afraid to live.
Steven's father was one leading the wedding ladies: basically all the members of the Crystal Gems, even including Connie, excepting for Garnet and me. They went to the altar, with Peridot launching flowers.
-Flowers for you! Flowers for you! Flowers for you!- Peridot shouted launching flowers everywhere.
Some of the flowers hit Mr. Fryman on the face and knocks him off his chair, shocking Peedee, other hit Dipper and made him sneeze like a little cat, making Pacifica smile and others were about to hit Abelardo but he managed to dodged them, taking some photos of the flowers on the sand to then return his attention to the wedding. I laughed a little bit, but then I felt sad again.
-Wedding commander, all flowers have been deployed!- Peridot said to an astonished Steven.
-Thanks, Peridot- Steven said a little unsecure.
Greg takes a sit and continues to play the guitar when he notices that Ruby went out of the house and, with a big smile and blushing, she went running toward her Sapphire. Greg accelerated the music as Ruby was running faster and faster, more anxious, leaving burned footsteps in the wooden stairs.
Abelardo followed Ruby with the camera and ran to get at her level and when she reached the sits she engulfed herself in flames and rush to the altar. Abelardo had to rush as well to reach it. Ruby stopped in the altar in front of Sapphire and of an scared Steven. Ruby left some fire on her way to the altar that Amethyst and Abelardo turn it off smashing it and putting some fire over it.
-"If I was there I could turn off the fire in no time"- I thought, being in silence as if I were there while Steven cleared hit throat.
-Dearly beloved Gems, humans, lions big and small, living gourds, Pokémon, Onion, we are gathered here today to celebrate Ruby and Sapphire, two of my favorite people, who combine into one of my other favorite people. You all probably know her as Garnet. She's their love, given form. Now it's your turn to talk about that- Steven said to then step back.
-I know this is all kind of silly, I mean, we've been together for 5,750 years- Ruby said.
-And 3 years with 8 months- Sapphire said.
-I used to feel like I wasn't much good, just one of me on my own. But when we're together, it feels like it's okay to just be me. So I wanna be me, with you, an-and, not even the Diamonds will come between us. And if they try, we'll beat em up!- Ruby said to then launching to punched and kicks on the air, making Sapphire laugh.
-"There she is, the Ruby ready to give her life to protect her loved one. Why I can't be like her? Why my fear is so big that it doesn't allow me to live?"- I thought while crying and looking at Peridot.
-Ruby, my future used to look like one single, obvious stream, unbending 'til the end of time. In an instant, you pulled me from that destiny, and opened my eye to an explosion of infinite possible futures, streaking across space and time, altered and obliterated by the smallest force of will- Sapphire said, with the people looking at her with admiration.
-"I changed my life in the past, becoming the most powerful Lapis Lazuli, why I can't do it again? Not even for her, not even for them, not even for me"- I thought.
-What I mean is, you changed my life. And then, I changed your life. And now, we changed our lives- Sapphire said taking Ruby's hands.
-Bismuth, the rings- Steven said.
-Hey Bismuth, that's your cue- Amethyst said giving Bismuth a gently bump Bismuth with her elbow.
However, Bismuth was crying, touched by the couple's vows, and approaches them with the rings. Sapphire puts the copper ring on Ruby, and Ruby puts the tin ring on Sapphire.
-Ruby, do you take this Gem to have and to hold, on this and every other planet in the universe!?- Steven asked.
-I DO!!- Ruby shouted.
-And Sapphire, do you...- Steven said.
-Yes- Sapphire said interrupting Steven.
-*whispering* You didn't let me finish- Steven said.
-I'm just very excited- Sapphire said.
-Then by the power vested in me by the state of Delmarva, I now pronounce you... Garnet!- Steven said.
Ruby and Sapphire kiss and hug each other. Ruby carries Sapphire up and begins twirling her around, as the couple fuses back into Garnet. The crowd cheers as a pair of red and blue flowers wash up ashore on the beach. Abelardo went to take photos on those flowers when he got a call. I went closer to hear their conversation.
-¿Hola?- Abelardo said.
-Hi Abelardo, it's me- a female voice said from the other side.
-¡Manuela!- Abelardo shouted.
-Hiro is death, he won't cause any trouble- Manuela said in a cold tone.
-Are you OK?- Abelardo asked.
-Yes, but I need to tell you something, maybe better when I am there- Manuela said.
-All right. Remember to buy something for Ruby, Sapphire and Garnet for their wedding- Abelardo said.
-Oh, that's true! I was so invested to stop Hiro that I forgot about their wedding. Well, surely Mew and I would be able to buy something good for them. You wouldn't like something from Japan?- Manuela said.
-I'm sure you will buy a yuri hentai manga or anime, but I don't know Japanese- Abelardo said.
The relationship of Abelardo and Manuela is very weird, because Manuela is a lesbian but she loves a man, however, her boyfriend supports her sexual orientation and even encourage it. Still they are a very solid, lovable couple, something that made me felt bad, remembering that I was the only one there that was really alone.
-Hahaha! You know me well, but maybe I can buy some clothes for you and some spicy clothing for me- Manuela said.
-I would love to see that- Abelardo said.
-Me too. Well, tell Garnet that Mew, Naomi and I send our congratulations to her. See ya later!- Manuela said finishing the call.
Abelardo put the phone on his pocket and returned with the others. I didn't wanted to see more and went to the Control Room, in which the only thing left of it was the chair of Pink Diamond, I sit there, giving a last look at Earth, suffering from being able to see but not touch, not interact with it, with its people, with a glass and thousands and thousands of miles separating us. It was like I was, again, trapped on a mirror, but this time I made the mirror.
