I let out a yawn as I leaned back in my chair, since I have no more work to do, I can pass everything else on Jewel. which, she is just manages both of our finances, which is our bank accounts. She continued to sit on my lap during this. I was on my phone scrolling through my socials as my free hand was on her hip.
I then slowly grew bored and tired before letting out a sigh and putting my phone into my pocket. I lifted up Jewel as I stood up from my chair and walked away from my computer.
"Did you have to pull me away from the computer as I was working?" Jewel said in a not very happy tone.
"It's not like your progress will be lost, come and spend some time with me." I say as I walk up the stairs of the basement and close the door when I make it back to the house.
"But I was almost done..." She whined over my shoulder, but I didn't really care at the moment as I carried her upstairs and up to my room. Well, our room. She has a perfectly fine bedroom next to mine, but she always wants to be in mine.
I tossed her on the bed which made Jewel let out a yelp before letting out a giggle. I was about to climb into bed next to her when the doorbell rang. I closed my eyes as I felt myself immediately grow irritated. I stood back up before holding up my hand up to Jewl to signal to her that I would be right back.
I walked downstairs and to the front door and opened it. I look forward to seeing no one there, confused, I look from side to side to see no one. I was about to close the door when I looked down to see a girl standing in front of me with big, brownish cat-like eyes.
We stared at each other for a moment as I studied her. She had bluish hair, and her clothing is unique. Red and black attire with clothes I don't recognize. She also had ears and tails, I say tails, plural, because she has two. Just swaying behind her as she looked at me, when I was done with my observation, I decided to be the one who siad something first; "Who the fuck are you?"
The cat girl's face puffed up with a pout as she looked up at me. "You know, it's rude to say something like that for your first impression!" She said, I stare at her with a deadpan face as I could hear her saying 'meow' or 'nya' like any minute now.
"You left me too long. Who's at the door...?" I looked over my shoulder to see Jewel walking up behind me to see the cat girl that was standing at our doorstep. She stared at her for a moment before pointed, "Who the fuck is she?" She asked me.
I shrugged my shoulders before looking back at the girl in front of me, "But she's right, who are you?" I ask.
The girl then puffed out her chest as she started to introduce herself, "My name is Nekomiya manna, but you can call me Nekomata!" She said, "And I'm part of the Cunning Hares!"
I stare at her, not in disbelief, or in surprise. Just stared at her, this cannot be happening right now. I looked over at Jewel, and she had the same expression on her face that I have. We both looked at this girl before pulling her inside of the house and slamming the door behind her, making her jump in surprise.
"Ah! That scared me nya.." She meowed. My eye just twitched, I haven't known her for long, but that already gave me a tick. But that is not important right now.
I look back at the girl to see that she was staring at me, rather intently. I don't know why, I look away from her for a moment before looking back at her. "Is there something that you need?" I ask nervously.
"You seem familiar..." She said thoughtfully before her eyes widening and let out a slight gasp, "You're Andesite! The Proxy hacker!" She exclaimed, her tail swaying behind her excitedly. "You're about as famous as Phatheon!"
I looked over at Jewel and she looked at me with a surprised look on her face as she shrugged her shoulders. We both look back at the girl in front of us with a rather serious look on our faces.
"How do you know that?" I said in a hushed tone.
"I followed the IP of your InterKnot account here!" The girl said in a rather happy tone.
"I told you I should've put up a VPN!" I hiss at Jewel.
"There is nothing that we can do about it now!" Jewel whispered.
I inhaled as I tried to calm myself down. This is going to be more work than I hoped for.
"So, what do you want from us?" I ask the girl.
"Nothing really," She said as she twirled around looking around our house, "But my boss wants something with you." She said as she looked at me with a smile on her face.
I took a step back as my eye twitched. This day is going to be real shitty.
