Nana wouldn't let herself believe it was just an excuse to stay longer, though maybe it really was an excuse for many things.
That idea was not good at all, ayaw niyang makaabala. It was better na nagstay siya sa tree house, kahit sa kaunting bagay nakatulong din siya.
When she was still living in the city, she loved decorating her room. It wasn't just about the aesthetics, minsan ginagawa niya 'yun para ibahin ang itsura ng kwarto niya every after the time na sinasaktan siya ng parents niya. There was something within her that drove her to do it. She didn't understand why—it just happened.
The boys were happy about it.
Sobrang daming nangyari sa tree house nitong mga nakalipas na oras, it was an experience for Nana.
It wasn't the kind of thing that usually happened in her life—she wasn't really accustomed to it. But she'd trade her city life for the countryside in a heartbeat.
She loved watching these people live their best lives, doing what brought them joy and passion. Today, Nana learned something valuable—to cherish every ticking second.
It was precious na makita ang mga taong kahit busy sa ginagawa ay nagawa pa rin siyang batiin, it was a beautiful sight to see the parade of people heading to the stream to enjoy their weekends. Spending the day with Kasper, Icarus, and Sebastian as they worked on the treehouse made it even better.
She cherished those tiny little details of people's lives.
"This tree house was built when I was ten, nasira lang 'to nung nagkaroon ng bagyo at hindi na naayos ulit.
A smile appeared on Nana's lips as she recalled what Sebastian had said when he sat beside her earlier.
