Madison's pov
two years ago 9pm
i was in bed, waiting for my girlfriend to come back home but it was getting so late. usually she's never late, but i guess she got caught up with work. i decided that i gave her a call again for the hundredth time, just to see if she was busy still.
"hello, baby, where are you-" i get cut of by someone's voice. it was kinda muffled but i was still able to catch the voices.
i listened to danielle say something, but then it took me moments to understand what was going on.
she was cheating on me.
"baby, i gotta go home now, to maddie, she's been blowing up my phone up."
"yeah i know but let's do round two, pleaseeee!" the girl in the phone begged.
"nah baby, i gotta go, this was funny though, i'll come by here tomorrow and we can go round for rounds.*kisses*" she said.
i didn't realise that i had tears running down my face. she was cheating on me all along, and my dumbass didn't realise it.
i hung up the phone and just sat on my bed, my legs were crossed, and i started to overthink, i still couldn't believe she was cheating on me.

a few minutes went by and i was in the kitchen, i sat near the island counter and was forcing myself eating a bowl of fruit, trying to forget the things i heard on the butt dial call.
i heard the door open and close from the hallway.
"baby, are you home?" danielle said. i didn't say anything and i kept eating.
"baby, didn't you hear me come in?" she said looking at me while she dropped the keys onto the table. she put her bag down and walked towards me.
"baby, what's wrong, why aren't you answering me?" she asked, trying to get my attention. she went behind me, wrapping her arms around my waist and kissing my neck.
"get off!" i yelled pushing her away from me and getting up.
"baby, what's your issue now?" she said in shock. i turned around and started crying angry tears.
