Chapter 10

Madison's POV

as i arrived back to my home town, i was still at the airport, waiting for my sister to come pick me up. it was about 9pm and i was very jet lagged and wanted to sleep. i was waiting for my suit case so that i could leave.

once i was out the airport, i see my sister, stepping out of her car.

"omg, kay, you're here, finally." she ran towards me and gave me a big hug.

"i'm sorry i was supposed to arrive at 3pm but omg, traffic bro." she said pulling me away.

"it's okay, let's go home, i can't wait to see mom and dad." i tell her, patting her on the back.

i put my bags into the truck and went into the passenger seat.

"so, how was new york?" she asked, looking at me before she started driving.

"it was cool, but not as cool as being back home." i said and she giggled.

"i meant the event you had, the fashion show, who did you see?" she asked.

"well, i was there was kyla and a few other models and then guess what?"

"what?"

"guess who i saw, i see billie and her girlfriend."

"sabrina claudio?!" she said to me.

"yeah, her, we're friends too but i saw billie."

"oh, how was that?"

"i was lowkey scared a little, but like i guess we cool now, i also opened up to her about two years ago."

"and how did that go?" she asked again.

"she cried and so did i. she said to me if she never left me we would've been together still." i said getting a little emotional too.

"awww, it's okay, at least she's in your life now, she cares about you still."

"yeah, but you don't understand how much it hurts to see her in love with someone else." i said.

"oh, i get it, you still like her."

"i love her, i miss her so much, but i hate to see her being so lovey dovey with someone else, it's heart wrenching."

"well, at the end of the day, you will find your soulmate."

"i guess you're right."

as we arrived home, we get out of the car and i quick get my things from the trunk.

as we enter the house, i see my mom and dad sitting at that couch talking until they see me walk in.

"madison omg, you're here!" my mom said smiling getting up from her seat and pulling me with open arms.

"*giggles* hi mom, hi dad."

"how's my sweetheart doing?" my dad said also getting up and hugging me.

"i'm doing great, i'm so happy to be home." i said.

"we are also glad you are here, with us, i'm so happy to see you." my mom says.

i sat down while the maid came in to take my bags into my room.

i smiled at her and looked back at my family.

"i missed you, why don't you come visit us often?" my dad said, frowning a little.

"i've been busy with projects, i have an upcoming one to get done, but i thought why not visit my family for a bit." i explained and they 'aww'ed me.
