"𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧, 𝐤𝐢𝐝, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧,"  -You're On Your Own, Kid, Taylor Swift

"𝐖𝐄'𝐋𝐋 𝐁𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐈𝐌𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀 𝐌𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍."

Urokodaki stated, turning his head to look somewhere else. As soon as he said that, Tanjiro widened his eyes in disbelief. "W—What?" He stammered, "You heard what I said." The white hair man took off his own scarf which was white. Urokodaki then stepped into the home, the boy following behind. "Aiko, can you get another futon from the closet?" He asked as he halted to a stop in front of the door way.

The mentioned girl nodded with her smile still plastered on her lips, "Yes, sir!" She then away and walked to the closet. Aiko slid the door open, rummaging inside the small storage room to get another futon. Once finding one, she took it and closed the door, but not before grabbing a pillow as well. She stepped over to where Tanjiro and Urokodaki were and sat down.

Aiko delicately rolled out the futon and placed the pillow down on the cushioned mat. Once done, she stood up and stepped a foot back for space. Tanjiro swung the basket-like-luggage off from his back and placed it down on the floor gently. Then, he started untying the knot he made from the sheet, taking it off by pulling it softly.

Aiko's eyes widen slightly as she noticed a person in it—a girl with black long locks—asleep peacefully in the bamboo basket, not expecting to see a girl in it. She had a bamboo muzzle on with a small pink bow in her hair. Tanjiro glanced at the slightly shocked girl and started to wave his hands around. "It's okay! She's my sister. No need to worry." He reassured with a warm smile, trying to assure any of thoughts that were going through in Aiko's head.

Her face softened, walking towards the boy and his sister. She kneeled down on both knees, sitting down on her feet as she gazed at the black hair girl. Tanjiro took her out of the basket, laying her down comfortably on the futon. Aiko placed a finger on her chin, "What's her name? If you don't mind me asking." She asked as she gently grinned.

"Her name is Nezuko." Tanjiro responded as he looked at her, "Nezuko...What a pretty name...She's beautiful." Aiko complimented, still looking at the sleeping girl. Tanjiro widen his eyes slightly, a pink tint lightly filling his cheeks. A smile etched onto his lips, "Yeah! Nezuko is actually the beauty of our town! She's adored by everyone there!" The girl laughed at his complements he had given his sister and couldn't help but agree with him.

"I'm not surprised! She is a beauty! I wouldn't be surprised if she has lots of secret admirers." Aiko chuckled. Then once Tanjiro was about to reply, someone who cleared their throat caught their attention. "I'm glad you two are getting along, but Tanjiro needs to start his training." Urokodaki stated, the dark brown eyed girl rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly.

"Sorry, Urokodaki..." She nervously smiled. The mentor only nodded in response, turning his gaze towards Tanjiro as he continued to make Nezuko comfortable on the futon. "We promise, we'll make sure to take care of your sister for you." Tanjiro looked at Urokodaki, a gratitude-filled expression painting over his face as he glimpsed at Aiko again.

"Thank you. I do appreciate that."

The two were now walking through the forest, a silence filling the air as they walked. Birds cawed throughout the night as the leaves crunched under their feet. Aiko was back at the house, watching over Nezuko. She offered if she could come with them, but Urokodaki declined, telling her to look over Nezuko until they came back to the house, to which she didn't mind doing at all.
