past, sword, master, and prapla had finally left the inn and the village. prapla had a map that would lead them to the next big village but it was very far and currently the group had just entered a vast desert area to get there
Master : it's so hot!... are we almost done passing through this desert yet?
Prapla : i'm afraid not yet.. but if you're tired of walking you can get on my back
Master : really?!
prapla smiles as master jumps on his back and picks him up giving the little boy a piggyback ride
Master : yay!! the air feels so much better up here!
Sword : aww man.. hey past do you think you could give me a piggyba-
Past : not a chance!
the group walked a little further before stopping and catching a break
Past : it's gonna get late soon... we'll rest here for the rest of the day..
everyone nods and sits down on the sandy ground
Sword : i'm feeling so thirsty...
sword was starting to hallucinate as in the distance he saw an oasis and immediately starting walking over there while everyone else wasn't looking. the oasis he had thought he had seen faded away the closer he gets and once he was finally there he saw a boy with a red set chowing down on some meat
Sword : w-woah! that looks tasty! could i get a bite?
Dragon : huh? i'm not sharing my food with you! go find your own! you think it's easy being stuck out here in such a hot place?
the red set user gets defensive as he stands up to face sword. he's been lost out in the desert way longer than sword has ever been and wasn't having it
Sword : we could help eachother out! share some food and we can get out of here together! set user to set user!
Dragon : no way! i don't trust you! you're a set loser is what you are!
dragon would then transforms into his classic form where he had on a red armored dragon suit on with horns and a tail. he also had claws and wings just like a dragon
Dragon : now get out of my sight! DRAGON BREATH!!!!
sword ducks down and takes cover as dragon blew out a large amount of fire out of his mouth that almost hit sword
Sword : w-woah that almost hit me!
sword transforms as well and takes out his sword to guard himself
Dragon : you think that puny sword will scare me?~
dragon runs towards sword and clashes his claws against his blade over and over while sword remains on the defense
Sword : i don't wanna fight you! lets just talk!
dragon ignored his words and sneaks his tail around sword's leg making him trip and fall
Dragon : it's over for ya!
dragon was about to finish him off with his claws but sword suddenly teleports in the air behind dragon
Dragon : huh?! where did you go?!
dragon turns around and notices sword falling towards him
Sword : woah! i didn't know i could teleport! i guess it activated as a last resort!
Dragon : DRAGON BREATH!!!!!
dragons shoots another hot flaming attack at sword
Sword : SWORD SLASH!!!!!
sword spins vertically and cuts through the flames and slashes his blade to the ground nearly slicing off dragons head
Dragon : tch! that was close!
sword smiles and brings his sword up to swing at dragon again but he catches the sword with his hand and uses his other hand to punch sword away into the sand while dragon still held onto his sword
Dragon : let's see if you can still fight without this thing!
dragon tosses the weapon to the side and flys upwards by using his wings
Dragon : DRAGON BREATH!!!!!
sword freezes in fear as he watches the flames head down towards him but suddenly past teleports in front of him and slashes the flames away
Past : jeez sword! what did you get yourself into?
Sword : past! you saved me!
Past : yeah i know, now lets take him out together!
Sword : right!
Sword summons his sword bringing it back to his hand again and the two of them zoom and dash towards dragon at high speed avoiding and dodging all the fire balls he was shooting at them
Dragon : nghh!!! stay still!!!
the sword wielders would then jump upwards towards dragon at even higher speed as their energies and aura glowed around them
Past & Sword : SLASH!!!!
and in an instant they blitzed right through dragon slicing their swords together to create an x on impact which caused dragon to instant revert to normal and fall to the ground
Dragon : GRAAAAAHHHH
past and sword teleports to the ground to catch dragon before he could get hurt and they transform back to base themselves
Sword : you okay?
Dragon : y-you guys saved me?
Past : well duuh... we're not evil like my sister...
Dragon : your sister?
Past : yeah my sister queen. we're currently on a mission to take her down
Sword : we would love for you to join us! we can get out of this desert together!
Past : your powers could definitely be useful
Dragon : thanks... i'm not sure what to say...
sword and past help dragon up to his feet
Past : we should head back to prapla and master. they must still be worried about you when you went missing sword
Sword : yeah my bad
sword's stomach would growl slightly
Dragon : you seem hungry, here
Dragon hands sword the meat he had earlier
Sword : you're sharing your food with me?
Dragon : yeah i might as well. if we're gonna be sticking together that is. my name is-
dragon gets a flashback to where he was seemingly fighting sword in a different timeline up in the sky giving him deja vu
Dragon : d-dragon...
sword and past looked at dragon a little confused
Past : he hesitated when he said his name just like master did and even sword... what exactly is going on here...
Sword : nice to meet you dragon i'm sword. and this is Past!
Past : yeah nice to meet you, now lets head back
past leads the way back to where prapla and master were waiting
Master : sword is that you?! where have you been?! we were so worried that past went to go look for you-
master and prapla noticed that another set user was with them
prapla : who are you?
Dragon : the name is dragon. you two must be master and prapla. I'll be joining you guys to take down queen. as a set user I'm willing to get out of this desert to do some helping for once
Prapla : great news. welcome to the group dragon
everyone eats up the meat dragon shared with the team and got some rest once it was night so that they could finish their journey in the desert tomorrow
