It had been a couple minutes since she went to go find her phone. I got worried so I came to check on her, only to find an empty beach. I panicked, screaming her name as I looked around the beach. I was imagining the worst, praying she would magically appear. My heart pounded, a lump in my throat forming as fear made my stomach churn. Suddenly, a sliver of white hair flowing in the ocean caught my attention from the corner of my eye. "Fuck!" I yelled, running into the ocean and seeing Kyoka's limp body floating amongst the water. "Fuck, no!" I cried out pulling her body to shore. I checked her pulse, feeling the smallest and slowest pulse imaginable.

"Kyoka can you hear me?" I asked, my body shaking as tears ran down my face. "Kyoka please!" I begged. I started CPR, watching as her body flailed as I tried to pump her heart back to life. I screamed in frustration "You can't die on me Kyoka!"

I pulled my phone out quickly, dialing Mr. Gojo's number as I hit call. The line rang and rang, eventually picking up.

"Itadori? Is everything okay?" Gojo said worriedly through the phone.

"You need to get here quick. Kyoka fell into the water, she's not breathing. I-I don't even know if there's still a heartbeat." I stammered through the phone, my breathing heavy and my voice shaky.

"I'm on my way." Gojo said, hanging up quickly.

I threw my phone to the side, tilting Kyoka's head back and blowing into her throat, then performing CPR repeatedly. Nothing was working as I cried and screamed. I begged whatever was out there to save her. I stared at her lifeless face, noticing a streak of grey now in her hair. I brushed it off, thinking it was probably just dirt and grime. "Kyoka please don't leave me. Stay with me. Your brothers on his way, please." I sobbed, holding on to her cold wet hand tightly.

Satoru ran towards his sister, two other people alongside with him. "What happened?" Satoru hurriedly asked me.

"We were sitting on the dock, it started to storm so we ran inside the abandoned house behind us. When we made it in she said her phone was missing and ran out to look for it. After a couple minutes she didn't come back, so I came to look for her and found her floating in the water. The dock is broken, she must've fell in. I'm so sorry Mr. Gojo, I should've went with her. I shouldn't have let her go alone." I explained, my voice cracking.

The other man and woman kneeled over Kyoka's body. "You need to go home right away, wait inside the building. We called for someone to come and take you home." The black haired man spoke.

I shook my head, "I can't just leave her!"

Satoru placed a hand on my shoulder, "Go home Yuji, you shouldn't have to see this. She wouldn't want you to, we'll take it from here." He told me.
