⸻ I 𝐖𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐔𝐏 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐍 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 through my curtains, something that deeply annoyed me every morning. However, I knew if I were to get blackout curtains, I would just sleep in. I sat up, stretching my arms above my head while yawning. I rubbed the sleepiness from my eyes, groaning a little. I really didn't want today to happen, I just want to go back to bed. I let out a long sigh, running a hand through my white hair as I saw the boy next to me stir in his sleep.
Yuji's eyes fluttered open, looking at me with a warm smile. "Good morning, beautiful." he grinned at me, making my cheeks flush.
I rolled my eyes playfully, "Good morning to you, handsome." I giggled, "I'm gonna shower real quick, then we can get some breakfast. I'm starvingggg." I moaned, pushing myself off the bed and grabbing a change of clothes.
The boy nodded, "Hurry up, I don't like being apart from you." he smirked.
His words making me laugh, "Okay lover boy, i'll be back in a jiffy!" I smiled, heading off to shower.
After the quickest shower of my life, I got changed into a comfortable pair of clothes and brushed my teeth. I combed my hair out and pushed it back behind my ears, letting it air dry. I looked at myself in the mirror, "You've got this." I whispered to myself, nodding my head. I took a long deep breath, closing my eyes before opening them again. I finally worked up the motivation to exit the bathroom, and enter my bedroom once again.
Yuji was laid out on my bed, scrolling through his phone as he always did when I was away. I could tell he was distracted, him not even moving a centimeter when I came in. I quickly jumped onto the bed beside him, making the boy jump. I laughed, clutching onto my stomach. Amused at my own joke.
The boy's mouth dropped open, "That's so mean!" He gasped, crossing his arms, "How could I ever forgive such a thing." He frowned, pouting.
I giggled at his antics, wrapping my arm around his bicep, "You know you can't resist!" I grinned, looking up at him.
Yuji rolled his eyes sarcastically, "Sadly you're right." He sighed, "I could never resist such a perfect beautiful princess." He grinned, cupping my cheek with his hand as he stared into my eyes.
His actions made that familiar feeling in my stomach appear. My heart doing jumping jacks and my cheeks heating up. "Hush." I whispered embarrassed, trying to hide the inevitable flustered expression on my face.
The boy laughed, kissing my forehead before getting out of bed, "May I join you for breakfast, my love?" He asked, bowing as he reached an arm out in a sweet manner.
I giggled at him, placing my hand into his, "You may, kind sir." I nodded. He moved his body upright again, our eyes now looking into one another's.
He smiled at me. "After you." He said, motioning for me to walk in front of him out of my room. I nodded, sending him a smile before exiting my room and heading down the stairs. The smell of bacon, rice, egg, and toast filling my nose.
