Y/n pov.
We hurried down to Hagrid's Hut for Care of Magical Creatures class, everyone was gathered in front of his cabin waiting for him.
"Alright class follow me, got a real surprise for yeh today" said Hagrid as he emerged from his hut in his moleskin overcoat "Now open yer books-"
"How do we do that without getting our fingers eaten off" said Draco
"Yeh stroke the spine, of course" said Hagrid
But as I opening my book, I saw the craziest creature I've ever seen in my life it looked like a horse and an eagle but it was very beautiful.
"Now who wants to ter say hi to beaky first" said Hagrid
I was too busy looking at the hippogriff to notice that the rest of the class had taken at least three steps back.
"Good Y/n and Harry first" said Hagrid
"We will be ok" Harry whispered to me as we followed Hagrid into the paddock.
"Now yer both going to bow to him and if he bows back then you can go touch him" said Hagrid
Next thing I knew Hagrid had put both of us onto Buckbeak me in the front and Harry behind me. He put his hands on my waist which gave me butterflies in my stomach as Buckbeak took flight. We soared over the lake and Buckbeak touched the water.
"Harry put your arms out common it's fun" I shouted back
he slowly lifted his hands of my waist and grabbed my hands gently and we both reached out. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Flying around Hogwarts on a Hippogriff with Harry. When we landed everyone clapped and cheered, everyone except the Slytherins.
"If Potter and Wild can do it it must not be that hard. You not dangerous at all are you, you big ugly brute." said Draco as he advanced upon Buckbeak
Then everything happened very fast Buckbeak was on his hind legs and he had slashed Draco's arm, there was blood everywhere, I screamed and Draco whimpered "Its killed me, its killed me"
"Hagrid he needs to go to the hospital wing now!" said Hermione, she looked worried too.
"I'll come with you" Harry gave me a be-carefull look and I left with Hagrid and Draco.
(I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while school just stared and I've been one vacation but I'm back to writing now!)
