A night jog and internal conflict

Y/n pov
I woke up and noticed Ahri was sleeping next to me. I laid next to Ahri and tried to go back to sleep but unfortunately I couldn't. I then noticed Ahri was in a deep slumber so I quietly snuck out of Ahri's grasp and before I crept out of my bedroom I noticed a card with a sticky note on top. I picked it up and seen it was a card that will let me use the elevator and was an access card to the building. I then decided to go on a nighttime jog to hopefully wear me out a little. I walked towards the elevator and tied my shoes and entered the elevator and went down to the lobby and exited the building. I decided to test my access card which luckily worked. I used my powers which my tails glowed which acted as a visible light so drivers know I'm out here and not get hit. I also know it was a decent downpour on my jog. I decided to continue jogging until I rid myself of this excess energy.

Meanwhile at the penthouse

Akali pov
My phone dinged which woke me up. I tiredly opened my notifications and seen our motion sensors in the lobby go off. The others are heavy sleepers so they won't hear their phones ding. I got out of bed and looked at the cameras and seen the motion sensors went off about 5 minutes ago. The only one that could possibly be up is Y/n. I got dressed and tried to call him but it went straight to voicemail. I decided to go track him down and I hope he grabbed his access card. I checked where Eve left his access card and seen it was missing. It was 2:30 AM which is an odd time for anyone to be up. I decided since I'll be out I might as well grab Some spray paint from one of my stashes hidden around Piltover. I turned on my phone ringer just in case one of the girls or even Y/n try to contact me. I made my way to the parking garage and got on one of my many motorcycles and put my helmet on and activated the hover mode and I drove off. I decided to go to one of my nearby stashes. And grabbed the duffle bag of spray cans.

Timeskip 20 minutes

Akali pov (still)
I been driving around Piltover and was about to contact the others to come help until I seen something F/c out of the corner of my eye. I started driving towards the f/c light rather quickly. When I drove around the corner I seen Y/n jogging. I pulled up next to him and honked my horn. I seen him jump and he removed his earbuds and asked "Why are you out this early Akali...shouldn't you be like...sleeping at this time?" I laughed sarcastically and said "I can ask you the same thing Y/n." He kept jogging and said "Well...unlike humans and such. I tend to get extremely energetic...you can say it's similar to a cat that has Zoomies at random points of the night. But mine is usually between the 2:30 AM - 4:00 AM hours. Sorry if I woke you up Kali. It's something I can't control." I then asked "how do you have that and Ahri doesn't?" Y/n said "It's something that disappeared as time passed. Ahri has them but to a very small degree. You have to remember that I'm the last of the Divine Kitsune race."

Y/n then said "If you want to go back to the penthouse you can Kali." I shook my head no and said "It's alright Y/n I'm a light sleeper so I'll be ok." I then asked "How about we go do something fun instead of you jogging around Piltover and me driving?" He nodded and said "Sure lead the way!" I said "Get on the back of my bike and wrap your hands around my waist...we'll get there far quicker than you jogging."

I seen him freeze up for a few moments until he shook his head and said "No thanks Akali I tend to...fear motorcycles. Far too fast and loud for me to handle." I stopped the engine and walked over and picked him by the back of his shirt like a cat and brought him back over to the bike and sat him in front of me. He said "Uhh I just got done saying that I don't like motorcycles." I got on and put a helmet on him and said "Your gonna have to get use to loud noises and all of that. So just deal with it...for me at least." I seen him say "It's not like I can get out of this anyways. You're blocking any possible way to get off." I patted the helmet and said "Use your tails to hold onto me alright?" He crossed his arms but I felt all his tails wrap around me for safety." I started the motorcycle and since it was in quiet mode it didn't seem to bother him very much since it wasn't really loud. He leaned his head against me and I noticed this was more soothing him then irritating him. We seen reached our destination and said "we're here Y/n." I noticed he fell asleep and I lightly shook him and he woke up. I got off and Y/n followed me into an alleyway. I tossed my bag onto the ground and unzipped it. I grabbed a few cans and asked "have you ever spray painted before?" I seen him shake the can and heard the rattling. He tossed me the can and said "I think the can is empty." I popped the lid and started spray painting on the wall. I heard rustling and I seen him pick up one of the cans and started shaking it until the lid popped off. I seen him look at it and pressed down on the nozzle and purple paint got into his eyes. He was confused for a few moments until he shouted in pain which I ran and grabbed a wet towel and dumped some alcohol on it and ran over and I caught his arm and I said "Shh shh stay still so I can get the paint out of your eyes. He looked around in a panic and I started wiping his face around his eyes but not directly in the eyes. I gently dabbed the alcohol damp rag in his eyes and he started rubbing his eyes. I then grabbed some water and tilted his head back and said "I'm gonna rinse your eyes out with water now Y/n." I started pouring the water in his eyes and after 5 minutes I let him go and he shook his body and water got everywhere." I seen him look at the spray bottle and looked at me for help so I led him to an empty wall and started properly teaching him. After almost an hour he picked up rather quickly and startled to make his own painting.

I was curious behind the meaning of this until he stood in front of it and faced me. I decided to ask anyways. I walked over to him and asked "what's the meaning behind this?" He said "Every night when I fall asleep I'm comforted by an angel and demon and the Angel says one thing then the demon says something different." He turned towards the art and sprayed his hand and pressed it against the wall and said "It's always an ongoing battle between both of them and it's like I can't ever figure out if what I'm doing is good or bad.
When I look at this art again I'm always gonna be reminded that there's always gonna be an ongoing fight between Peace and Evil in this world but to me it's takes has a deeper depth then just good and bad in my mind.
