Cookout goes wrong

The next day

Y/n pov
I was awaken by knocking on my door. I tried to ignore it but the knocking persisted. I eventually got annoyed enough to where I got up and slipped on some clothes and opened the door. I asked "Ok what did you need so much that you had to wake me up." I heard chuckling and it was getting me a bit more annoyed. I went to close the door until Eve stopped me and asked "Why the aggression this morning." I yawned and "said 2 reasons. Reason 1 I was having a peaceful dream of when my parents were alive and you woke me up." I then put another finger up and continued "reason 2 I had a long night. Anything else...because if not I would like to go back to sleep." Ahri said "Well we were all invited to a cookout with True Damage later and ekko wants ALL of us to go which includes you as well. So you should start to get up and dressed." I yawned and rubbed my eyes and nodded. I shut the door to get "Changed" but actually flopped back onto my bed and passed back out."

Timeskip till noon

Ahri pov
We haven't heard a single noise from Y/n's room all day so I opened the door and seen him passed out. He's a much heavier sleeper than Akali. Might as well get him up because Eve will not be pleased if Y/n fell back to sleep. I walked over to him and sat next to him. I gently shook him and said "Time to get up Y/n. We have that cook out to go to." He didn't respond in the slightest so I had to take a different approach. I leaned over his ear and said "Y/n...we're all in bikinis." I heard him mumble "nooooo that just makes me want to sleep more. I'm not ready to go to the beach." I found it quite impressive that not even that worked. Normally guys would immediately be on top of that. I then noticed how calm and peaceful he looked. I sighed and shook him a bit harder and he groaned and he tiredly sat up.

I seen how messy his hair was and he has the worst bed head out of any of us. He yawned and tiredly said "good morning Ahri...why are you in here?" I said "You have to get ready. We have that cookout with True Damage in 2 hours." He nodded and said "Yes ma'am." He slowly got out of his bed and he trudged over to his dresser and started going through it. He soon found an outfit and walked over to the bathroom and I heard the water start." I decided to sit on his bed and wait on him. After about 20 minutes I heard the water shut off and heard him softly sing to himself. I watched the bathroom door open and seen him walk out completely dressed. I said "Here let me fix your hair. There's absolutely no way Eve will let you leave the penthouse with your hair a mess." He walked over and sat in front of me. I started fixing his hair. After I fixed hair he stood up and asked "So what is True Damage...is that a type of rival band or something?" I laughed softly and said "Not a rival band but one of our sister bands. Akali is apart of their band just like ours." Y/n nodded and said "What should I expect when meeting them?" I replied "Just be yourself alright. No need to put on an act." Y/n nodded and we just decided to lounge around in his room until it was time.

Timeskip 2 hours later

Y/n pov
I was gently nudged awake and I tiredly sat up and Ahri said "You don't get much sleep don't you." I tiredly responded "Just a rough night is all. But aren't we going to that cookout?" She nodded and said "That's why I woke you up." I nodded then stood up to stretch. After I stretched Ahri gently rubbed my hair. I then let out a small purr of appreciation and she smiled at me. I felt her rub her nose against mine and I blushed softly. After a few more seconds Eve called out "COME ON EVERYONE WE'RE LEAVING RIGHT NOW." I got up and followed Ahri out and we all met at the elevator and I was honestly a bit nervous which I believe Ahri and Kai could tell. I followed them into the elevator and I stuck to the back of the elevator. I always had trouble meeting new people but I'm trying to get better. When the elevator opened I stuck to Ahri's side.

As we got into the vehicle Akali called shotgun which meant Ahri and Kai were in the back with me. As we took off Kai tapped me and whispered "You'll be ok I promise. So no need to be shy. I nodded still nervous and she turned back to her phone. I felt Ahri gently run her hand through my hair. It was relaxing and I let out a soft purr letting her that I'm enjoying the feeling.
