Second chances

Me and Jessie were running to the store when I spotted her. I almost ran her over. Slamming on my breaks I stopped within seconds of crushing this tiny puppy. "Oh my god" I shouted putting the car in park. Me and Jessie were out of the car in seconds. I knelt down and got the poor thing to crawl to me. She was shaking in her skin. "It's okay baby's. It's alright" I crooned. "The poor thing. Did anyone see what happened? " jessie asked people around us. "Someone threw her out if thier car and sped off" this guy said. "And you didnt stop and think to fucking help her?" Jessie snapped."Oh shut up bitch atleast I told you what happened. I cant do everything. Fuck you" he snapped at her. I looked at her and seen her eyes changing. I put my hand on her shoulder. "Jessie come on lets just go we got her now" i said. Trying to get her in the car. It took me a second trying to push her towards the car and keep a hold of the puppy. Jessie flipped the guy off and got in the car. I got in and reached in the back for one of codys work out towels. I wrapped her in it and I called him. "Hey babe whats up?" He said. I could hear him playing with the dogs. "Um so you'll never guess what just happened" I told him. "Is randy with him?" Jessie asked. I put Cody on speaker and heard randy say something. "Okay so one Jessie almost beat some guy up and two I have a new dog" I told Cody. There was no way I was gonna give this helpless thing away. A puppy could be good for moxley. He has started declining and I don't know how long I have with him. "Wait what?" Randy said. "Jessica I can't leave you alone for five minutes " he said. "I'm not alone Randell" she said into the phone. "Anyways not the point me and her are going to a vet to get her checked out. I almost ran her over and this guy said someone threw her out of the car" I told Cody. "Well atleast you found her babe. We will make it work okay? Let me know what the vet says" he said. We said goodbye and hung up.

We got into the vets quickly. "Hi how may i help you?" The vet tech asked. "Um yeah hi. So I found this puppy and apparently she got thrown out if the car and u almost hit her with mine. She seems fine but I wanted to make sure before bringing her home"i told her. Her eyes went wide. "Your uh your keeping her? Where is she?" She asked standing up. Jessie came from behind me holding her up. "Oh my god she's so small. Here follow me" the lady lead us to the room. I took the puppy from Jessie and sat her on the exam table. She finally stopped shaking.  Sniffing my hand she gave it a lick. "Hi I'm Dr. Valentine, I understand you just found this girl" the vet said as he walked in. "Yes and I want to bring her home. Poor girl seems to have been through enough and I can give her a good home" I told him. He started checking her out. "Well she seems fine. Needs her puppy shots but we can do a x ray and double check. I'll her orders in ans we will get her shots" he said smiling at me. "Thank you so much" I told him. The vet tech came in and gave her her shots. She yelped but and ran towards me afterwards. Hiding behind my arm. "I'm gonna take her to her x rays. Does she have a name yet?" She asked me. "Um no not yet. Can I possibly get her microchipped as well? Or will I need a actual appointment? " I asked her. "We can get that set up for you I'll have one of the other girls get the information for you while we have her back there" she said picking her up. She whined and tried crawling to me. Poor girl. Another vet tech came in and I filled the form out. It took about 30 minutes but they brought her back.

Grabbing the puppy we went to the desk to pay. "Alright the price for today's visit is 2334$ will that be card or check?" She asked. I paid for it half with my card and half with Jessie's. "Thank you I'll pay you back girl" I told her as we got to the car. "Don't even worry about it I'm just glad you got her safe and she's healthy. Here let me drive. We still have to go to the store" she said. I handed her the keys and got into the car. Calling Cody I let him know she was healthy and we would finally be stopping at the store. I was gonna get her a collar and some puppy food while we were there. "We should be back within the hour. I love you" I told him. "I love you to baby" he said. We stopped at the store and got a few things and the things for the puppy. "Think of any names yet?" Jessie asked as we loaded up the car. "Uh maybe Nova" I said scratching her ear. She looked maybe  6 weeks old. I'd probably have to mix her dry food with some water. I raised mox since he was 7 weeks so I was fairly comfortable raising a other puppy. "That name is adorable" she said as we drove back by the spot we found her. That guy was still there. "Ass i should run you over" Jessie mumbled under her breath. I looked at her. That was Jessie though. Protective is a understatement.

We got to the hotel and the guys had met us outside. "This her?" Cody asked taking her from me. Her little tail wagged and she licked his face. "She's a cutie" Randy said. The grabbed the groceries and we went to the room. I had Cody and Randy leash Moxley and Pharoah just in case. Walking in the suite the two dogs whined getting excited. Nova cooked her head to the side and wagged her tail. Her spirits were up thankfully. I sat her down ans she walked straight over to the boys. Sniffing what she could of them. She was tiny compared to Pharoah and Mox. They sniffed her checking her out. "I think they are fine guys you can probably let them go" Jessie said. I walked over and got some water for Nova and some food. Not knowing when she was fed last. "Here baby girl" I told her. Moxley and Pharaoh let her be seeming to understand she needed some water and food. She drank forever before going to the food bowl. Scarfing it down. I gave Cody a hug. "I missed you today. I would have lost it if I actually ran her over. She is so tiny. How could someone do that to her" I told him.

"Anna you didn't. Don't beat yourself up. She has us now. She's gonna be just as spoiled as you" he said giving me a kiss. "Whats this about you almost fighting a guy. You know wwe frowns upon that" Randy said leaning against the wall watching Nova try to play with her new brothers. "Look if you were there his face would be in the cement" Jessie said taking a drink of water. I laughed agreeing. We took the dogs out to potty. Moxley showed Nova what to do and I made sure to make a big deal when she pottied. "Your such a good dog mom" Cody said smiling at me as well walked back in. I smiled back looking up at him.
