We had decided to go on our date on Sunday. We had just got to the hotel and Cody had a few work obligations but nothing on Sunday. Randy had agreed to keep a eye on the dogs for us so they would not be alone. We got up to our suite. Cody had opened the door, "Ladies first" he said letting me through. I unclipped the dogs leashes. "When do you go back to work?" Cody asked setting our suitcases down. "Uh Friday for smackdown" I said. It was 4 in the afternoon and we had nothing to do for the rest of the night. Cody had to be up early for a meeting and some training tomorrow. I sat on the couch throwing Moxley his toy. Both dogs ran after it Pharaoh getting it first. Cody handed me a water. "Thank you" I said. He sat next to me. "So Cody can I talk to you about it?" I asked him bringing my feet close to me. "If your comfortable you can. I don't want you to do anything you don't wanna do" he said. I leaned back. I don't think he'll know how much it means to me to be able to confide in someone. "Well, I was 16 and I was on facebook. I had to make a fake account because my dad did not want me to have one. I put my age older than what I was and I had gotten a friend request from Jon" i paused taking a sip of the water. Cody was watching me listening closely. "One thing lead to another we were talking every night. I would message him through out the day and he would message me when he could. But he was controlling and mentally abusive" I paused. Cody looked at me. "I'm sorry you had to go through that hun" he said softly. "He ended things by ghosting me. It was super hard in the beggining. I just thought he was busy and I kept messaging him and when it kicked in. That he didn't love me like I loved him. I've never been with anyone since" I told him. He wrapped me in his arms. "Well I promise to never ever hurt you. Regardless how this turns out you are a amazing girl and any guy would be lucky to have you" he said. I leaned my head on his shoulder. Feeling content.
